My legs burn with exhaustion but I continue to run. I run and run and run... Dead leaves crunching on my shoes. Tears blurring my vision streaming down my face. A sharp pain protrudes my stomach. I collapse. A voice echoes in my head loud as a bomb.
Mariella...Mariella...where are you? You can't run from me Mariella...

Make it stop...Make it stop! A deafening beeping noise kept me awake. I try to cover my ears, the rope tightens harder on my wrists. I wince. Foot steps echo in my ears. My breathing gets heavier. Please not this again...
The doctor looks at me and smiles.
"You know I can easily let you go Moon," he says.
I roll over to the other side, looking away from him. A whole rush of pain enters my body. Tears stream down my face. I roll over to see what he's done.
He holds a needle out teasing me...
My vision blurs... Blackout
