Gray and Jane asked Sue if she knew what grandmother looked like. Sue had to think hard if she had ever seen a picture of their grandmother before but she couldn't recall. Jane thought about her mother and thought that grandma was a shorter more wrinkled version of their mom. Sue was going to say no she wasn't but thought to herself maybe she was. Sue decided to ask their mother about their grandmother. Lily was reluctant to tell Sue about Ira but she called Gray and Jane down and showed them a picture of Ira. The picture was of when Ira was 24 she looked like Lily except darker. Vincent sent the kids back upstairs when he noticed Lily was starting to cry. The kids went upstairs and talked about grandma. Gray thought she would be nice and make cookies for them every day and tell them bed time stories. Jane thought she was a bitter old women who hated everything. Sue couldn't really think about what their grandmother was like she felt so sad for her. Gray kept asking Sue what she thought grandma was like when Sue decided that their grandma was probably like both of her siblings ideas of Ira. Sue thought that Ira was usually a pleasant person but when she had a bad day then she may be unpleasant every once and a while.

Lily came upstairs came upstairs and heard her children talking about their mother. She decided to stand by the door and listen to their conversation. She heard Sue say all that matters is that she cared about her. When Lily heard this she started crying. The children heard their mother so they all rushed to the hallway were they say their mother weeping. Jane asked if she was okay Lily told her children that she was okay. Gray then asked her why she was crying. Lily told him that she was happy that they thought that Ira was a good person that cared about them very much. Lily hugged her kids and sent them to bed. 10 minutes later Lily and Vincent tucked the kids in and kissed them goodnight. That night the all of the kids had dreams about what Ira was like. They all dreamed of Ira telling them that she loved them very much and they made cookies together.
