*Asher's POV*
I woke up to the most annoying bird sound. It was like a crow mixed in with a rooster, mixed in with a dying cat.
"Turn it off!" I yelled angrily.
"Woah bro it's a weird bird thing come check it out!" Aurora said out our small window.
"What is that?" I say finally walking to the window.
"I don't know." I began to look closer and realized there was a screw on its left wing.
"It's a robot." I smiled examining it.
"Oh shit that's sick." She smiled. I had just realized I had a conversation with someone without it being totally awkward as how I usually am. I smiled taking in the moment. "Well I already took a shower and you took one last night so want to head to breakfast?" She smiled.
"Yeah I would like that." I smiled back feeling completely calm and for once not absolutely hating life.

We arrived at the big dining hall as the slew of kids just began forming in.
"You know what's crazy?" Aurora said leaning to bend down to whisper to me since she incredibly much taller then I was.
"What?" I replied as she was still bending.
"We were 2 out of the 150 of us chosen, knowing that they had thousands of submissions yet they picked us.." Aurora said grabbing an apple. "Omg, I'll be right back." She said leaving without me being able to say another word.
"But-" as I said that she had already left. I took in a sigh and stood in line. As I looked around I saw a face that made me swoon. He was the captain of a team I couldn't name off hand, he already seemed to make a ton of friends. He was beautiful. I realized how hard I was staring when he caught my eye and saw I was staring. I quickly looked away and acting dumb. Finally aurora returned and we sank back to talking.

*Kennedys POV*
I ran into Ethan again on my way to breakfast.
"I haven't met half the people at this camp but somehow run into you everywhere!" I said exhausted. He began to laugh.
"So what brings you here?" He said jumping right into it.
"Woah woah! At Least take me to dinner first, before all these questions!" I say sarcastically.
"Maybe I will." He said charmingly which made me blush like crazy.
"Uh-so um, I came here because I told my dad ever since I was like 14 how much I wanted to come here, and now here I am." I smiled trying to break the awkwardness. "How about you?"
"I guess I heard from school or something and begged my mom to join." I smile walking while talking as we see the dining haul approach.
"You guess?" She asked confused.
"Oh- did I say I guess?" I tried laughing remembering me and Gray's little secret. I couldn't tell anyone because I would be put in a loony bin.

We got the dining hall and Ethan got bombarded by a swarm of girls on the firefly team asking him questions on 'how'd he get so muscular' and my favorite 'you are like the bestest team captain like ever!!'  I dodged the girls and got food. Strangely enough for such an expensive camp the food was like normal camp food. I sat at a table with 2 other girls.

"Hi." I say placing my plate of eggs and bacon down. Both girls looked at me.

"Hello." A girl wish long black hair and dark brown eyes said. "Aurora..." She added.

"You mean that's your name or you just really dig sleeping beauty?" I say. The girl laughed.

"It's my name." She said with food in her mouth.

"You?" I nod at the other girl sitting. She had long hair like aurora but hers was a darkish orange. Green eyes and glasses.

"Asher." She said shyly.

"That's a bad ass name..." I say complimenting and taking a bite of my bacon. "Asher." I say again thinking of the name.

"Thanks." She said not amused. Tough crowd.
After a long awkward silence Ethan somehow found his way towards me. "Wow do I have bright pink hair or something because you always seem to find me in crowds." Ethan sat down and laughed.

"Very funny, but no, you just happened to be by the bagel bar. Ethan loves bagels."

"Did you talk in 3rd person?" Asher the red head chimed in which was surprising because she hadn't said a thing since her name.

"Oh yikes, I did.. Should I leave?" He said cringing at himself.

"Oh yeah... Definitely need to leave 3rd person guy." Aurora laughed. I did too.

"I'm Ethan." Ethan said extending his arms to shake both of there hands.

"Aurora." Aurora said as she shook his hand.

"Asher." Asher said hesitating.
