"Kennedy Lion-Reeks" I look up from my book I was reading. "Kennedy someone is in the office for you." My teacher said. The whole class was looking at me. I got up and walked to the front of the room to get the note from my teacher.
"Th-thanks." I say grabbing it and reading the note.

Take stuff, will be leaving for the rest of the day.

I went back grabbed my stuff and walked out the door. Summer school sucked. Especially for someone who is quite intelligent but failed a class for poor sportsmanship.
I walked towards the office to see my moms.
"Hey moms." I smile.
"Hey sweets" my mom Amber said. I hugged her then my other mom Katy.
"Why am I leaving?" I ask.
"Well it's your last day and you already have like an A++" Amber laughed.
"So we want to take you on a hello summer fun day." Katy added.
"Haha okay." I laughed. Now you must be wondering two moms- how wha? Que? So which? Dad? Well I will explain I was born with two parents obviously and somehow ended up with 3. My dad Marvin and my mom Katy loved each other like any Cinderella story you know. But my mom Katy always seemed depressed and sad all the time until one day at a hospital room where I queen of my world was released unto the world with full force, my mom met Amber. My dad knew right away that my mom would never be happy if they stayed together no matter how much they loved each other so a year and a half later a divorce happened and my mom found Amber again and the fairy god mothers married the two. My dad still lives on the coast of Maine while we live 3 houses down. I know sounds really awkward, and it is. But it all still works out. My dad acts fine with the whole thing and comes to dinner whenever the moms are in an extra spectacular mood. For me, I love sports. In very competitive, and will turn anything into a competition. I like to feel at home wherever I go. And make the most of things, I know it sounds cheesy but you only have one life, so why not live it.

"So where are we going?" I ask buckling up in our 2015 Subaru.
"Ogunquit." Amber smiles turning around to see my reaction. My eyes opened wide and my mouth began to open.
"Really!" I smile. Amber laugh and nods. Ogunquit is a little town up from where we live. It's my favorite place to go. It's full of small shops that are so picturesque and beautiful. It what makes Maine, well Maine.
"Can we eat at Five-o!" I ask smiling.
"Already planning on it!" My mom Katy said as she drove.

We arrived at Five-o my favorite seafood Shack and ate till we couldn't anymore.
"So I must know, why are we doing all this?" I say suspiciously.
"No reason." Amber laughed.
"I don't trust you." I say coyly."

The day was amazing we went to the beach, played volleyball, shopped at my favorite mini-mall and ate again. But as they say all good things come to an end.
"Hey so Kennedy, me and mom have to let you know- you are staying with your dad this summer." Mom Amber said.
"Oh okay, why?" I smile.
"Me and Katy are going down to Seattle."
"For what?" I ask confused.
"We- were uh- adopting." Mom Katy said.
"Shut up!" I yell in the car.
"No dead serious!" Mom Amber replied.
"Oh my god. Are you serious! Girl or boy? Or twins!" I scream.
"We're not sure yet. We're meeting the carrier out there. We're fortunate she picked us." Mom Katy said. I smiled and sunk back in my seat. I'm going to be an older sister.

The next day I went over to my dad's to check up.
"Hey dad!" I scream entering the door.
"Cosmo!" I say as my dads Saint Bernard ran up and tackled me. "Hello bubba, hello, hello." I say kissing his face.
"Kennedy just the girl I wanted to see." My dad smiled.
"Hey dad. Did you hear the news?" I ask looking at him.
"The one that I'm almost 50 and balding or that your moms are having a seraget?"
"That one." I say pointing at him and winking. I got up from the floor and hugged him.
"Oh! I have something to show you!" He said excitedly. I laughed.
"Okay what is it?" I ask as he just stood there.
"It's in the kitchen." He said.
"Okay why aren't you moving?" I ask.
"Well I don't feel anything on my back.." He said confused. I laughed knowing what he meant. I took a few steps back then ran and jumped on his back.
"To the kitchen!" I say as if he was a horse and I was a knight.

"Okay so here it is. Don't get upset if it isn't good."
"what is it?" I laugh while opening it.

"Wait is this what I think it is?" I ask confused.
"Yep." My dad smiled. "Your going to camp." He smiled.
