Nine thirty-six pm, Louis sat on his couch, still fuming. The now cold, black coffee sat on the end table next to him. Ripples being sent through it each time Louis' foot collides with the floor carpeted floor.

"I didn't think he'd ditch me for someone as foul as Luke."
Louis muttered to himself

His fists were tightly curled, his fingernails digging into his palm.
In the back of his head knew he was being over sensitive and dramatic, but he told himself that he just cared about the hybrid and what happens to him.

Soon after, phone rang. Louis knew it was Harry, so he answered quickly, a little too quickly.

He heard giggling, Harry's giggling.
"Lukey be quiet, he answered."

"Harry what do you want?"

"Oh hi, I just need a ride home please-"
Louis could practically hear him smiling.

"I thought a.sshat was taking you home."
Louis reminded

"H-he was, but he has to leave, please can I have a ride?"
The short hybrid asked quietly

"I don't want your mom thinking I'm the one that kept you out,"
The older boy sighed
"So I'm coming, where are you?"

"Uh, the ice cream shop.."
Harry chuckled making Louis groan and grab his keys

The car ride was silent. Louis didn't dare to speak, making Harry think Louis was upset with him.

"L-Louis?"
The hybrid asked cautiously, the older boy didn't respond, he just gripped the steering wheel tighter.

"Louis why won't you speak to me?"
Harry whimpered

"You did something wrong. So this is your punishment, Harry."

"But-"

"You know what you did!"
Louis yelled making Harry jump and his ears go flat

"My ears are sensitive Louie, don't yell so loud,"

"My heart is sensitive Harry, don't ditch me for a sack of p.iss named Luke."
Louis lashed back.

When the brunet parked at the apartment building Harry wasted no time storming out of the car, Louis followed.

"Harry could you wait a sec!"
Louis caught up to the hybrid,
"I-I'm sorry, I just don't want Luke to hurt you-"
He rested his hand on Harry's shoulder, making the small cat hiss loudly pulling away.
That caught Louis by surprise, Harry never hissed at anyone.

Louis' eyes were filled with shame and shock, making Harry's eyes soften.

"I'm sorry. Finish what you were saying please,"
Harry turned around

"I'm sorry for overreacting, I just didn't want him to hurt you, Because-"
Louis sighed

"I understand, but Jess might be coming home soon. I have to go."
Harry cut him off while looking straight at Louis' cloudy moss green eyes.
Before Louis could say good night, Harry had already walked over to the elevator.

"Because the only person that should be able to hurt you,"
Louis paused while speaking quietly to himself,
"Is me."
He concluded.
