chapter 14

Today I tell Edward I love him, that I have for a very long time.

Today is also my last day alive.

Today is the last time I see Edward.

Today is the day that I loose it all.

But that's okay. If I get to choose when I go, I would choose today.
Not because today is special but because my heart tells me that it's the right thing to do.
The longer I'm here, the longer I hurt them.
I don't want to hurt the Cullen's.
I have put a lot of thought into this day.
The day we loose.
The day everything ends.

Edwards POV:
Over the last few months I have fallen in love with Bella more than I thought was even possible.
Today I'm to ask her to marry me.
Today I want a reply to my rhetorical I love you's.

Still Edward Cullen's Pov:

We're sat in the meadow.
I'm very nervous.

What if she says no. Edward grow up. Ughhhhhhhh it's too hard!

When I finally get the guts to get down on one knee, Bella is shaking like a leaf.
I try and calm down.
She loves you Edward. Just you see.
I get on one knee and get Bella's attention .
She gasps and I smile and start the speech I have memorized.

"It's an extraordinary thing to meet someone who you can bare your soul to. And who will accept you for what you are. I've been waiting, what seems like a very long time, to get beyond what I am. And with you, I feel like I can finally begin. So I'd like to propose to you Isabella Marie Swan because I know that no measure of time with you will be long enough. But, please let's start with forever.
So would you do me the biggest honour of becoming my wife?"

I look up at Bella who is sobbing.
"Bella baby, what's the matter?" I ask her confused.

She looks up at me through her tear streaked eyes and whispers I love you.

I'm so thrilled that I'm beyond happy.

I slip the ring on her finger and hug her tight. She hadn't even given me an answer.
"Edward."
I look at her confused.
" I love you so much. And I'm so sorry."

"Bella what are you on about-"
Bella pulls me in and kisses me.
It's a kiss that tells me she loves me but what scares me most is that it's a kiss like we will never see each other again.

We pull back and she smiles widely.
I hug her tight.
And she hugs back.
But while doing so she goes limp.
I pull away and Bella fails into my arms.
Unconscious? Dead? I don't know.
Ice starts to cover her.
From her heart it starts to spread.
"No. No Bella. This can't be happening. Bella I can't loose you again.please!"
I Sprint back to the house and put her down on the bed in Carlisle's office.
I scream for help.
I scream bloody murder.
I just can't loose her again.
Carlisle rushes in and start his work but looks just as confused a I am.
He doesn't know what's wrong with her does he?
He doesn't know and now Bella's  going to die.
It his fault.
No it's my fault.
Why can't I be happy?
Why can't we be happy?
I need her; she needs me.
So why is this happening to us again?
Im losing her all over again. AGAIN. AGAIN?
She can't leave me. She can't. She can't. She won't. I NEED HER.
