Tess Adams

I get into the flight to Dallas hearing about my Dad's condition the next morning after telling Dylan I'll be back after 2 days or so and he has of course sent security because this whole accident is obviously Janette's doing and that bitch hit me on the right nerve and she isn't getting away easily.

2 hours later..

I get into a cab to Mayweather Hospital as fast as I can.
I reach the hospital and run to the receptionist.

"Um, what room is Mr. Adams in?" I ask panting and she checks her computer.

"Room no. 303 ma'am, Are you his relative?" She asks me flashing a smile.

"Yes, I am his daughter thank you." I say running into dad's room and I find mom there asleep near my dad holding his arm.

I look at dad and he is severely injured as mom said. I start bursting out with tears as soon as I see his condition.
That Janette bitch, Why the fuck does she want to harm my family? What did I even do to her? Maybe she's related to my mom or dad somehow? I have to ask my mom sooner or later.

"Mom!?!" I yell running towards her crying and she gets startled and wakes up.

"Tess! Oh, sweetheart. Don't cry, he's gonna be okay." She hugs me and pats my back consoling me with tears in her eyes.

"Mom! How did this happen? I can't afford to see Dad like this. What did the doctor say?!.." I say still crying with my voice shaking.

"The doctor said.. He's gone into a coma and he can't guarantee his survival.." My mom tears up and I cry too.

"Oh my god." I hold my dad's hand and weep bitterly.
What did I do to deserve this?!

At Dawn..

I wake up with my cheeks soggy and tears dried up under my eyes and I find me sleeping next to my dad while holding his hand.
I also feel someone holding me and the scent is familiar..
I turn back to see and I find Dylan siting there sleeping on my shoulder with his arms around my waist.

"Dylan?! Hey, wake up." I say patting his head and he wakes up startled, "Woa-What? Tess? Oh, you woke?" He asks me with his raspy voice, rubbing his eyes.

"What are you doing here? Why'd you come all the way to Dallas? It's not safe to leave your mom alone like that, Dylan! She might get into wrong hand—" He puts a finger on my lips and smiles at me, "Brian's there. He's way better at fighting than I am. Don't worry, Tess. I got it covered." He says hugging me tighter and resting his head on my shoulder again.

"How will Brian hang around? He's a model and he has his busy schedules and—"

"He cancelled them, Tess. Don't worry." He says against my shoulder and I feel his minty breath on my neck which sends shivers down my spine.

"Did you meet my mom?" I ask Dylan as I rest my head on his head wrapping my arm with his.
"Yeah, guess what, she liked me! A lot." He says in exhilaration and I giggle.

"Oh, Dylan the Charmer is up to his dirty tricks again." I say dramatically and he grins.

"Never fails to impress." He smirks and I laugh.

"Uh, Dylan, My legs are kinda paining at the moment because I've been in this position since noon so—"

"Say no more, chica." He stands up dramatically and helps me up and pulls me close by my arm and puts a hand around my waist.

"Guess what I was looking at you the whole time you were sleeping, I guess I took some pictures too." He says whispering and he's so close that I can feel his breath on me.
