Ch. 25 -- Case Closed

        Dean and Sam have been acting weird all morning, I feel as if they've been awake since earlier then me and I woke up at 6:30am, that's early. I am currently sitting in the island in the kitchen cutting up some melon and apples for a fruit salad as Dean makes the scrambled eggs. He was so busy thinking he didn't even realize he wasn't moving the spoon at all. He had it in his hands but it was frozen from its place in the middle of the pan.

"Dean? Maybe you shouldn't let the eggs get burnt." I reply loud enough to grab his attention.

"Oh, shit!" Dean starts to stir the eggs again. "How did you sleep sweetie?"

"Fine. No nightmares."

"Good, good. How would you like to go on a picnic after your therapy session?"

"Yeah! Were would we go? If you haven't noticed we're kinda stuck down town."

"Na, just outside the city is a forest. Last time you were there you were around six years old. There's a nice picnic area there and a jungle gym for you and Cody to play on."

William walks into the kitchen slipping on a random shirt of his since he only sleeps in his pajama pants. "Morning Vi. How did you sleep?" William kisses the top of my head and heads to the coffee maker to grab himself a cup of coffee.

"Good. No nightmares."

"That's amazing sweet heart!"

        I continue to cut up the melon into smaller cub sizes as Dean starts taking out some tortillas to heat up with our eggs. William is leaning on the counter drinking his coffee as Cody walks into the kitchen and plops down next to me. He waves at me and I wave back, that's kind of our 'hello' when we're too tired to talk.

"Okay, Cody, here are the forks and knives. I want you to set the table, breakfast is ready." Dean hands Cody the utensils. William pours himself a second cup of coffee as Sam picks me up, startling me in the process since I didn't hear or see him come in.

"AHHH! Sam! hahahahah" I start laughing as Sam flips me upside down and starts to tickle me, having a strong hold on me so I wouldn't fall.

        Sam laughs alongside with me as he sets me down on William's lap. Everyone is now sitting down to eat, even Damon who happened to walk in because he smelled the tortilla's cooking. His hair was standing up all over the place! It's really funny to see because he is still half asleep yawning every five seconds until Sam handed him a cup of coffee. William hands me a tortilla filled with eggs and red pepper.

"You can eat on your own for breakfast, Vi. Today we will feed you lunch since this is easy to grab for you."

        I accept the tortilla and start eating, keeping my mouth shut as Cody sends me warning glares when he noticed I was going to be a smart ass and mouth off. Everyone eats peacefully, me still on William's lap, and the boys making small talk. Dean interrupts everyone by clearing his throat loudly.

"Today, Sam and I don't have any work. Bobby practically kicked us out yesterday. I thought that maybe we could all have a picnic at Mansanita Park?"

"You mean the park we used to go to with mom and dad up in the mountains?" asked Sam

"Yes, that one. It was actually Vi's idea." Dean points to me and everyone starts to cheer.

"That would be amazing! How about you choose who you want to give you a bath today, Vi? hmm?" replied William

I nod my head and point to Sam. Sam smiles at me, sending me a quick wink. I giggle and continue to eat my second tortilla filled with eggs.

"Okay, Sam it is. While Sam is getting Vi ready, I'll start packing the food. Cody, you take a quick bath and then come help me pack the blanket and food in the car okay?" William says.
