BIRTHDAY
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" I said loudly as Alex opens his room door.
"Thank you Bea Bee" he hugged me with his signature bear-hug. And let go me after secs.
"We have something for you" I say, grinning.
"You will like it" Laila added with a wink.
"What's this?" Alex asked when I handed him the gift-wrapped box.
"You'll know" I said. Alex let us come in his crib. He excuse his self and went to the bathroom. Will is already there sitting on Alex coach and playing video game with a guy. The guy is blonde.
"Hi Will!" I greeted.
"Hey Bee what's up" Will greeted without looking at me. The TV screen showed that Will lose
"You're so weak Will" I teased
"Whatever. That's a piece of klunk" he said turning off the video player, I bet he is annoyed at my compliment. The blonde guy face us smiling. The guy looks familiar to, but I really can't remember where.
"Yes, he is really weak" I was shocked at his accent.
"Come on. Want a rematch?" Will said and punched the guy on his arm. And the wrestling begins.
"Don't mind them, they're just growing backwards" Alex said looking at the two.
"What?!" the blonde guy overheard him.
"Nothing love" Alex said with a sweet girly voice.
"What? You call him Love?" Will asked confused, I guess.
"No honey I mean Thomas" and the grin remains with a hint of playfulness.
"You're cheating on me?!" Will said in disgust.
"No, Honey I'm yours"
"Wait, so you're cheating on me too?" Thomas said laughing
"Oh no, just pretend you're not listening" Alex said with a wink.
"Hey, I'm first you're second got it?" Will said
"C'mon man! Share! This bloody ginger needs LOVE" Thomas draw heart shape in air. I find this argument funny.
"No, he's mine ONLY mine" and the argument continues. Laila and I are just listening and laughing with these guys. For the record, they're not gays. They don't ship each other okay? But they are absolutely guy a girl wants. If it's not Laila's big bro, I would love Alex. He is natural sweet. He is sweet to Laila, to his Mother, to his Granny, and even to me and Annie. Alex called me Bee by the way. He started calling me that when he heard Annie call me B.
"What do you call her?" Alex asked Annie with frowning and pouting face.
"B?" Annie said absentmindedly.
"Why do you ask Alex?"
"It's just that" he laughs. And laughs and laughs and laughs. we waited for him to finish laughing. It takes a minute tho.
"You are B?" he said pointing at me "Like a bee" he made a buzzing sound. "and you?" he asked me "what do you call her" pointing at Annie.
"A?" I said And he laughed and again. Annie and I looked at each other with a mode of (what's going on with him? Is he crazy?)
"A the Ant, B the Bee" he said. He continue laughing at us and he even told Will about it. And Will accept the joke. Seriously they kept laughing like there's no tomorrow.
Back to reality, Laila snaps her finger to me. She really has this natural talent of putting me out of my own daydream. I look at her
"C'mon let's get out of here" I nod.
"Where are you going?" Will asks when he notice us leaving.
"My room?" Laila replied.
"Where's Little Ant? Is she the queen Ant now?" Will ask laughing.
"He's with you-know-who." I replied.
"Hi" Thomas said looking at me. He's smiling, the kind of smile that I've seen somewhere but I can't remember where.
"Queen Bee, this is my bro Thomas." Alex introduce him to me.
"Hi. Have we met? I kinda have this feeling that we met before" I said to Thomas. Thomas extends his hand to mine
"Pleasure to meet you Queen Bee" I took his hand. "I remember you in La Preso and in the bus if my memory still working" Flashback quickly runs to my head. Scanning every detail at La Preso and in the bus. And I saw him with the drunk guy and the guy who caught me in the bus.
"What a--"
"Coincidence" he finished it still smiling.
"that was great. She is the girl you mentioned" Alex butt in the conversation.
"Yeah she is."
"How's your friend?" I asked "Is that your friend too Alex?"
"Nah. That his only. I don't like him. He's a drunk." Alex replied
Thomas replied looking back and forth to us "He's good now. He's still in the hospital."
"why?" I asked him.
"he drunk a bottle of shampoo" he said in a low voice.
"that was hilarious" Laila said.
"Yes super" and we all begin laughing.
"What's with queen bee and queen ant all about?" Thomas asked curiously.
"You better ask the both of them" Laila pointed his finger to Alex and Will. I looked at my wrist watch and gestured to Laila. We still need to prepared for Alex birthday.
"Can't you stay longer?" Will asks.
"Naah. We still need to prepare and help Tasha and Mary" Laila said whilst opening the door.
"Okay, see you later guys." Will said
"alright then" I give Alex and Will a quick hug. And vanished.

We really don't need to help Tasha and Mary to clean the house, we just insist it. And besides, tomorrow is the party even though today is Alex birthday. Devon is really busy today, but she made herself available tomorrow just for Alex. We clean the pool area, which is not really a thing. I mean, we clean the pool within minutes and Tasha ordered us to stay in Laila's room but before we go upstairs, we eat our dinner first. Thomas ordered pizza and we ate together, talking and laughing with each other. I always find Thomas beaming at me, which is very very cute. Why does a man so thin could be this handsome?!
After dinner we headed upstairs, Alex told us to see them in the balcony. We went to Laila's room to get my phone to her bed and Laila went to get her guitar. We will having "jamming plus bonding" session with the boys. As I took my phone, it vibrated and see Annie's name with 30 unread messages. This alarms me. She never texts me like this before, if and only if she really needs help.
