Someone was knocking on my door. I groaned and rolled onto my back. Sun was barely seeping through my blinds. It couldn’t have been later then seven. I sat up and the knocking continued.
“I’m coming!” The wood floor was cold beneath my feet and I silently cursed. I knew my hair was probably knotted and a mess, but once I answered the door I was going back to sleep. My hand made contact with the silver knob and I turned it.
“Good morning!” Harry cheered before me. I squinted up at him. He was dressed in usual jeans with a blue plaid shirt.
“Why are you here so early?” I groaned and walked away from the door. Plopping onto my couch and pulling a blanket over me. Moments later, Harry was sitting beside me.
“We have breakfast plans,” I went to speak, but was cut off. “This is the normal time people eat breakfast, Aly.” Harry chuckled and I crawled into his lap. Harry tensed up before he wrapped his arms around me. His heart was beating beneath my head and I smiled.
“I guess I’ll go get dressed,” I said, getting off him.
Twenty minutes later, we were on our way to some breakfast place. Harry was playing soft music on the radio and driving with both hands. I studied them and frowned. Maybe he didn’t want to hold my hand. We pulled up to a rather expensive looking hotel.
“Harry…” a smile crept onto his face and I shook my head. He parked his vehicle and we got out. I smiled when his hand snuck into mine. We were greeted by a young lady who seemed to know we were coming as she already had our menus and was waiting to take us to our reserved table.
“Can I get you guys something to drink?” she asked. Harry ordered us both Yorkshire teas and nodded when the lady walked off.
“I will never understand this,” I mumbled and Harry glanced quickly at me. “Why do you take me to such expensive places?” His face formed a smirk and he pulled my chair closer to his. His lip pressed to mine suddenly. Our mouths opened and his tongue slide between my teeth. A small moan escaped my mouth as our tongues touched. There were footsteps outside the door and I quickly broke away from Harry. My palm landed on his crotch and I felt him twitch.
“Alyson…” he whispered warningly. That only caused me to press onto him harder as the door opened.
The lady brought our teas to us and we ordered. All the while my palm rubbed small but firm circles onto Harry’s crotch. His was biting his lip harshly as I took my time to order. The lady left again and he gripped my waist.
“Now is not the time,” he hissed. I giggled and unzipped him with my free hand. His eyes were dark, the scary dark, as he glared at me.
“Okay, I get it,” I said and pulled my hands back. I stood up and moved my seat across from him. Harry zipped himself back up and looked at me. I was finding my hands very interesting as I stared at them. Our food arrived moments later and we began eating.
About halfway through our meal, I wasn’t feeling very hungry and pushed my plate away. Harry took notice and looked at me. I took a sip of my tea and looked around the room as Harry ate. Getting up, I wandered through the room. There were antique paintings along the walls and I took my time looking at them. Hands appeared on my waist and I jumped.
“Are you ready to go?” he asked, calmly. I nodded and went over to grab my coat and bag. Harry walked beside me as we left to pay. “You still want to hang out?” His voice sounded quieter and there was a hint of emotion behind it. I nodded and walked to his car. My mind wandered as he drove. I thought about what his house would look like. Would it be big and lavish like everything else he owned? We pulled up to a flat complex and I just looked. He got out and I followed him. Harry’s flat was separated from the rest but it wasn’t huge like I was expecting. He let us in and I smiled.
