When we pulled up at school, everyone was staring at me. I don't know why but they looked intrigued, not sure if that's good or not.
"My, someone's mighty popular." said an strange voice coming from behind us.
We turned to see who the mysterious voice belonged to. To our surprise, it was the new English teacher. We introduced ourselves and walked to class. The only great thing about Jamestown High is that I have literally ever single class with Andy. So we're never apart.
Before we got to class, we stopped by our lockers, which are pretty close. We grabbed our history binders, notebooks, and project. Our history teacher was actually quite fun, he always had us doing projects instead of boring old essays.
When class ended, we went to English. The new teacher seemed alright, but something told me that things were gonna get a bit weird. Andy was talking to one of his friends and I was talking to mine. She was going on about the manicurist ruined her nails, but they looked amazing compared to what I could do.
Then out of nowhere, I heard this awful screech. Like what I heard in my dream, and I turned to Andy and asked if he had heard anything.
And his response: "You're hearing things, would you like me to walk you across the street?"
The weird thing about Jamestown High was that across the street there a psych ward. It had been worn down over the years, seeing that no one's been in there since 2001. You know other than the crazy teenagers looking for a good time.
I rolled my eyes and said, ''It was like the scream that I heard in my nightmare. I don't know but this new teacher kinda seems a little strange now, like, he seems really familiar. It's weird, trust me, I know I sound crazy. I feel crazy."
"I could have told you that years ago."
"Shut up."
