2. Forget

Forget him.

         Sobs. Cries. Tears. Screams. Those were the only things that Naeun did this past week. It was about him. Him with another girl. A prettier one. A richer one. And a less-annoying one too. Everyone who knew about their relationship told her he wasn't worth it. They told her he wasn't worth the amount of tears that she cried. They told her to get over him and find a better man. But deep inside her heart, she knew that no one could replace Kim Myungsoo. She knew that no one will make her feel the same way he did, including making her feel worthless. She also knew that she wouldn't love another person more than she ever did with Kim Myungsoo. Because there is only one Kim Myungsoo in this world and he broke her heart.

         The news broke out last week, on a Sunday. Just when Naeun was about to go public with their relationship. She stayed strong for a hour and finally, she broke down into tears. Naeun suffered the most in this so called " relationship " of theirs. She was the one that he always got mad at. She was the one who always made the effort to show up early or on time every single date. She was the one that actually invited him out on dates. She contributed so much to try and make it work but at the end he still went to someone else. " He never loved you. " Was what Eunji would always tell her and try to persuade her to end the relationship before she got hurt. But being the strong-headed person she is, Naeun never listened. Now she was stuck on her bed with boxes and boxes of tissues. Now, she knows the true feeling of being betrayed.

         Myungsoo regretted his decision of choosing Kim Doyeon over Naeun almost immediately. Kim Doyeon was obnoxious, annoying, clingy, and rude. But he had to stay with her because she threatened him she would release fake news of him if he left her. Although he never admitted it, he loved the way Naeun clinged on to him. He usually never liked being a tree to a koala but maybe Naeun was special. But now, he made a mistake that can never be fixed again. He already broke it off with Kim Doyeon. But everything is already out. He was too scared to face Naeun again. He bet Naeun didn't even want to see him.

          " I'll forget you. I promise. " Naeun murmured. She buried her face in her hands and let out a scream. It was a new beginning for her now. She will be a new person. A new Naeun. And she will become more strong. And more happy. She will be better.
