The Surprise
Your pov:
I was walking around school going to my last class when I spotted Aaron. Yes. Exactly who I need to see.

"Hey Aaron!" I said to get his attention.

"Uh Heyyy" he replied nervously. What was going on today? All the boys were acting weird and Cameron, my best friend, wasn't at school.

"What's going on?"

"What do you mean? I don't know what you're talking about" he replied quickly, a clear sign he was lying.

"You know exactly what I'm talking about. Why has everybody been acting weird around me today? And where is Cam? He hasn't texted me all day." Just then the bell rang. Great.

"Well I guess I should get going. Bye!" Aaron ran down the hall.

Ugh. I just have to get through this class and finally sleep.

*after school*
I quickly gathered all of my stuff and ran to the bus. After the quick 10 minute drive, I got off the bus and started crossing the street. I ran home and dug through my backpack to find my keys.

When I finally found them, I unlocked the door and walked inside.

What I saw surprised me. In front of me, was my best friend. I ran to him and hugged him.

"Surprise!" He yelled, hugging me back. He looked proud and amused at the look on my face.
"I have something to ask you" he continued talking.

"What is it?" I asked pulling away slightly.

"Uhm well. So I've liked you for so long now. And just to get to the point, will you be my girlfriend?" He asked hopefully.

"Hmm. I don't know. I haven't really thought about us that kind of way." I replied, trying to keep a straight face.

"Oh" was all he said as his face dropped. The look on his face almost made me feel guilty. Almost.

"Just kidding. Of course I would love to be your girlfriend" I smiled at him.

"Are you serious?" He asked his face mixed with shock and happiness.

I nod,"surprise" I wink while laughing. I pulled him back into our hug and we just stayed there like that for a while.
