Chapter 1 : Attention Hoger

Hawaii is a very beautiful place to visit. What mostly drags it's attention are the gorgeous beaches and it's flowers. Everyone visits Hawaii during summer vacation, well the ones who can afford it. I remembered how my friend in California would always ask me questions about how Hawaii looks like and if it is truly beautiful. She was a nice friend to have around. She would always listen to your feelings and understand you. When I felt down in the dumps, she would always be sympathetic and I would do the same back to her. It was very painful having to tell her goodbye on my last day, she was the only friend who would actually have fun with me. The only reason to why we had to move was because my dad needed to fly to Hawaii every single 3rd week for work, and we couldn't afford to be spending so much money, and it wasn't even for us at all. The place where my father works, is a good company and he gets well payed. After a family desicion, we decided to live in Hawaii back again, for one school year, and see how it goes from there. I was actually born in Hawaii, but my parents wanted us to know another state other than a tropical island. Very understandable! I have gotten through things about myself but haven't even said my name! How rude of me! My name is Maui, just like an island around Hawaii. We are actually officially living in the island of Hawai'i and it is very big. I have been awake for about 12 hours and everyone's asleep. I think it's about time I rest because tomorrow by noon, we will land at the airport in Hawaii.
