Vanessa's POV
I woke up surprisingly still in my red strapless dress fomenting last night apparently I was so tired I didn't bother to take a shower and brush my teeth. I stood up from my bed and cupped my hands to my mouth to take a whiff of my morning breath.
"HOLY SHIT!" I exclaimed cause my breath smelled like someone died inside me, it was really bad, so I rushed to my bathroom and removed my clothings and got into my bathtub to take a shower when I was done with that I got out and brought my toothpaste and toothbrush from the cabinet and started to brush my teeth after the brushing of my teeth and a few rinsing I was done.
I got out my bathroom and had a towel around my body then went to my wardrobe to get something to wear, it was Saturday so I wanted something simple for me to stay at home, so I brought out my sweatpants and a simple plain white top and wore it.
I went downstairs and saw my mom drinking a cup of coffee in the kitchen.
"Good morning mom." I said with a cheeky smile.
"You mean afternoon." She grinned.
I checked my phone and saw that it was 1:53pm. Crap I slept for while I sure was really tired yesterday. I thought.
"Hellooo." My mom snapped me out of my thoughts.
"Oh sorry I just can't believe I woke up this late." I said looking at her while she was sipping her coffee.
"Well that doesn't matter, since your having your breafast a little late what will you eat hon."
"I'll have pancakes." I said looking up as I thought of what to eat.
"Coming right up." She said like a waiter in a fast diner.
I took an apple from the fridge and took it with me to the my to my room to eat it while waiting for my brunch, I started texting Stacey.
"Sup Stacey I had an awesome night yesterday."
"What happened last night?" She replied after some seconds.
"I had a date."
"Ooo with who?"
"Michael!"
"Wow, I knew you guys would end up together."
"It's not like we're boyfriend and girlfriend, we just went out on one date."
"Not yet Vans, not yet."
"Whatever Stace I'm coming to your house after I eat my brunch so bye for now."
"Bye." She sent after our short text conversation I went downstairs to check on my food.
"Are my pancakes ready now mom?"
"Yeah here you go." She said giving me a plate of pancakes and giving me the syrup.
"Thanks mom."
"Your welcome."
I went to the living room and started eating my pancakes in peace when I was I went to kitchen to wash my plate and went to my room to wear my sandals and pack my hair in a ponytail and took my car keys and told my mom that I was going to Stacey's house then I entered my car and drove off to Stacey's house.
I opened the door to Stacey's house which was surprisingly open so I entered the house to find Stacey and Dominic making out on the couch that meant her parents weren't home,AWKWARD! I thought. I coughed loudly and they parted and looked at me, Stacey's cheeks had turned a bright red color and she shyly looked at the floor then looked at Dominic and told him something in his ear and they both hugged and she kissed his cheek
"Sorry I have to leave now, bye girls." He said leaving the house.
"Bye." We both said, then I heard the door shut.
I gave her an evil grin with my eyes furrowed.
"What?" She asked looking at me weirdly.
"So you and Dominic are official now huh?"
She blushed again and smacked my head with her hand playfully.
"What was that for?" I scolded in pain.
"That's for interrupting Dominic and I's kissing session." She returned an evil grin.
"So what are you doing here?"
"I came here to hang out with my best friend duh." I said giving her an it's-so-obvious look.
"Oh you have to tell me everything about your date with Michael."
I myself blushed when she told me I had to tell her every single detail about the date I had with Michael so I explained everything to her right from the point where we got to the restaurant to when we kissed in front of my house.
"Wait hold up, you guys kissed." She asked wide eyed.
I nodded. "Yes."
"How was it?"
"It was wonderful, seriously I felt sparks everywhere during our kiss."
"Yay MICHESSA forever!" She jumped and hugged me so tight.
"Michessa seriously you already made a ship name for us." I looked at her with an eyebrow raised.
"What I like to think ahead."
We both laughed.
"I told you we aren't boyfriend and girlfriend, atleast not yet."
She looked at me with that evil grin of hers. "The keyword in your last sentence is not yet."
