"M'lady your father has grown ill, do you wish to see him?" Said the doctor. Dixie looked wary, "Yes please, I would like to see him immediately," Said Dixie rushing off with the doctor.
Go to my friend dixiefightingokhasis, this book obviously has her character, but she has an amazing story called Region Wars and you can see what happens to her father in it.
Violet POV
"I hope her father will be ok," Axel said. I shrugged, "Yea whatever, he'll be fine probably," "Uh yea, I hope.." Axel looked at me weirdly. "Umm I'm gonna go explore bye!" I told him as I ran into the city, "Ok by-" I tuned him out as I ran into the market, I climbed up onto a building. I watched as people scurried around in the market, and the guards doing their rounds. One of the people in the market caught my eye, it was a little boy. The little boy walked up to a stand and grabbed a fruit, he then started to walk off until a guard stopped him. "What are you doing?" I heard the guard say, "Nothing.." The little boy mumbled. "Nice try, you're stealing!" He yelled as he grabbed the fruit, "We're going to find your family and get this sorted." He said starting to drag him, "No!" The little boy yelled. I jumped behind him. I gave the guard a sweet smile and calmly said, "He's always getting into trouble, here I'll pay for it," I grabbed my money and gave it to the guard. "Ok then.." He handed the fruit to the boy, who ran off. "Don't let it happen again," He gave me hard stare, "Oh I'm so sorry," I lied. He walked off, Thank Irene he was annoying I thought. I continued exploring among the rooftops till I met the redhead. "Oh hey Axel," I leaned against a wall, "Hey I didn't know you had a heart," he joked, " What do you mean?" I asked, he cleared his throat, "Ahem 'Oh I'm so sorry'" He mimicked me with big eyes. I punched him, "Yea well I guess I felt sorry for him," "Well that's new," He exclaimed. "...... Yea"
