Chapter 16-Waiting for Prey

"Ahh..." I woke up panting.

We are still in the middle of the trip. Good thing I did not woke up Gaara.

"What was that?" I asked myself.

That dream. That horrible dream. I'm so scared.

"Y/N..." Gaara said.

"Why did you wake up?" I asked him "You should rest."

"I should be the one asking you that." He replied.

"Well... I can't sleep."

"Why?"

"Because I'm excited." I lied.

"Excited?" He asked "What for?"

"Because we'll see them again." I tried to hide my fright.

"Me too."

"What are you going to do when we get there?" I asked.

"Of course I will spend time with your family first. And the second I need to talk to Shikamaru." He answered.

"Why?"

"I need to clarify things for the chunin exam."

"Oh... I forgot the chunin exams."

"See you better rest for now Y/N."

"I can't sleep."

"The let me make you sleep." He brushed my hair, trying to make me sleep.

"That doesn't work."

"Trust me it will..." He kissed my forehead "Now sleep with me."

"Fine as you wish." I hugged him tight, forcing myself to sleep.

"Sleep well." He rested his head on mine.

"You too." I whispered.

I think it was a bad idea if I tell him about that dream. He'll just worry about me and our unborn children. I don't want to let that happen.

"Lord Kazekage." The captain of a certain clan called me.

"What?" I asked.

"We arrived safe." He said.

"Are we here?"

"Yes Lord Kazekage. Mr. Erin Aoshi wanted to talk to you urgently." He informed.

"Where is he?"

"He's at his office. His messenger told us."

"Gaara..." Y/N woke up.

"Tell him I'll be there in a minute." I ordered.

"As you wish, Lord Kazekage." He left.

"Are we here?" Y/N asked.

"Yes we are here." I answered.

"What are we waiting for? Let's go." She said and got out of the carriage.

"Gaara, you okay?" She asked.

"Yes, I just need to go to Erin first before going to Naruto." I said.

"Oh... I see." She rubbed her chin "Since it's a nice morning and I miss walking around. Maybe I can visit Naruto as well." She suggested.

"No you should rest. Go straight to mom." I disagreed.

"No it's okay." She insisted.

"Y/N no."

"Gaara please." She puppy eyes, pleading.

She's cute. I can't say no with that eyes.

"Fine."

"Yehey!" She said squealing.

"But don't stay out too late."

"Okay I will." She smiled.

"Then see you later, Y/N." I kissed her on the cheeks.

"Okay bye." She left.

"Erin." I knocked on the door gently.

"Brother Gaara is that you?" He asked.

"Yeah." I responded.

"Come in." He opened the door.

"Long time no see, Brother." He sat on his chair "Take a sit." I sat over.

"Why do you want to talk to me?" I asked.

"We have a problem." He replied.

"What is it about?"

"It's about them."

"Do you mean Leo, Charles and Therese?" I asked.

"Yes..." His smile turned to frown.

"What is it?!" I asked him, my hands turns to a fist.

"This letter where found on our door recently." He looked at the paper.

"What does the letter says?" I asked.

"When the supper comes. Sharp claws will attack. Touching the skin of the innocent child..."
