"Nandini..you have fever!" Manik told her.
"What? No Manik, it's nothing..I'm fine" she lied.
"What fine? Listen you need rest, I'll take you home"

"What?! Manik please, I don't want to spoil this..we're here for bhai and Navya, please..I'm fine sachi" she tried to convince.
Manik looked at the others who were busy watching something in Cabir's phone.
"Okay fine..but what if it increases?" he asked worriedly.
"It won't, ghar jaake hi I'll take medicines ok?" She said hoping for a positive response from him which she successfully got.

They entered the restaurant for dinner and everyone had a gala time with lots of teasing and clicking pictures. They then decided to go to the theaters.

"Nandini" Manik called out in a low tone for the others not to hear.
She turned and looked at him. He held her hand and checked her forehead again only to realize that the fever had increased.

"Ab bhi kahogi that you're fine? Nandini you're burning with fever!" He said, anger and worry visible on his face but she kept mum since indeed she was feeling quite weak.

"I'm taking you home right now and before you start your emotional drama that we're here for Cabir and Navya then I'll handle it."
"But Manik.." she began but stopped when he glared at her.

"Tum dono waha kya karrahe ho?" Navya asked since they were at a distance from the group.
Manik thought for a while then went to them. "Actually guys, hospital se call aaya, Nandini and I are needed there. So you guys carry on"

"What? Yaar tum dono ke bina there won't be fun" Mukti said.
"Exactly, let's cancel this" Navya added.
"O Madhubala" Manik interrupted, "Yaar this celebration is for you, so you guys go ahead. No more arguments."

He removed his jeep keys from his pocket and handed them over to Cabir.

"How will you go?" Cabir asked him.
"We'll take a cab" Manik turned to Navya "And I'll be with Nandini till you return so don't worry and enjoy okay?"
Navya smiled and nodded. MaNan left after bidding bye to the rest.

"Aaram se" Manik said as Nandini got off the cab. He paid the driver and they entered the house.
"Listen go your room, I'll be there in a while."
"Kaha jaarahe ho?" Nandini asked.
"Kahi nahi madam yahi hu..meanwhile you go and change"
She nodded and climbed upstairs while he went to the kitchen.

Nandini got changed and took her medicines before Manik comes. She kept the normal tablets beside her bed for Manik to be convinced that she had actually taken those.

Manik knocked on the door and she let him in.
"Manik ye?" she questioned seeing him with a bowl of water.
"Hmm" he answered walking towards her. He kept the bowl aside and made her lie down.
"Manik you don't need to do all this..mene medicines le li hai, I'll be fine" she said looking at him as he tucked her in bed.
"Hogaya? Aur kuch kehna hai?" he asked and she shook her head knowing there wasn't any use of telling him anything.

He sat beside her and soaked the handkerchief in the cool water and kept in on her forehead after he wrung the excess water while she admired him.

"Tum bhi na Nandini, ussi waqt meri baat sunleti toh this fever would have subsided by now, but nahi" he complained as he repeated the process after a while.
