Thaddeus' POV
It's the second day of school and I can't get that nerdy girl out of my mind. Though she may not be that beautiful, there's just something about her that is charming.
But there's something kinda off about her eyes though. The way she looks at things are cold and lifeless. It's as if she has seen things - for they were scarred.
Anyway, the gang and I are making our way to the room. Nang makapasok kami, panay agad tilian ng mga babae. Hindi nalang namin sila pinansin pwera nalang kay Ian at Drake. Mga likas na babaero eh.
Umupo na kami sa aming mga upuan dahil magsa-start na ang klase mamayang konti. "Hi Raegan!" Sabi ni Pierre dahilan para lingunin ko ito. Nakita ko itong kinakawayan si nerdy girl. First time ata na may pansinin ng ganyan si Pierre na tipong, siya pa ang una na makikipag-converse sa ibang tao.
Tango lang ang nakuha na sagot ni Pierre sa kanya. Agad namang inakbayan nina Mason at Grey si Pierre. "Bro, my man. Why talk to that nerdy girl? She's way out of our league!" Pangunguna ni Grey.
"Yeah man. I mean, will you just look at her? Wearing those damn ugly clothes. Hahaha" tatawa-tawang sambit ni Mason. Nagtinginan sina Grey at Mason at sabay na bumunghalit ng tawa. Nakitawa na rin sina Sebastian, Ian at Drake. Mga gago talaga.
Kumunot ang noo ni Pierre sa mga pinagsasabi ng mga kaibigan niya. "Why not? I want to be her friend." Sabi ni Pierre. Napatigil ang lima sa kanilang pagtawa at gulat na napatingin sa kaibigan. A smirk formed on my face with what Pierre just said. Hmm, interesting.
May sasabihin pa sana sina Grey pero dumating na ang Professor. Napatingin naman ako kay nerdy girl na kausap ang katabi niyang babae.

Raegan POV
I'm sitting here inside the classroom waiting for the teacher to arrive when suddenly, I heard someone call my name. I turned around only to find Pierre waving at me and saying hi. I looked at his friends, and I can clearly see them giving Pierre incredulous looks. Tsk. I told him not to talk to me. I sighed and replied with a nod.
I turned my back and heard his friends talk about me. Haha, if only they knew. A few minutes later, the teacher arrived then class started. Naramdaman kong may kumakalabit sa tabi ko kaya nilingon ko ito.
"Hi! My name is Shanelle Diaz" nakangiting pakilala nito sabay abot ng kamay. Tinanggap ko naman ito at tinanguan siya. I observed her face and I can say that she is beautiful.
"Raegan Parker" pagpapakilala ko.Hence, the start of our conversation. I found myself talking to her. We became bestfriends in an instant. Well, she told me to. Besides, hindi naman batayan kung gaano na kayo katagal magkakilala para maging bestfriends. We just clicked and I knew, she's gonna stay.
Class ended and it's already our free time. "What's your schedule by the way?" I asked habang naglalakad kami papuntang cafeteria. She handed me her schedule and it turns out that she has the same schedule as mine.
When we arrived at the cafeteria, she told me she will be the one to order our food. Her treat. Sino ba naman ako para tanggihan ang grasya. Umupo na ako sa bakanteng table at hinintay nalang siya.
"Rae, chocolate cake nalang binili ko and juice kasi hindi ko alam ano gusto mo hehe" sabi ni Elle pagdating niya sa table namin. Haha, aww she's too cute.
"Nah. Don't worry about it Elle. Okay na sakin tong chocolate cake. Thanks" sabi ko naman.
"Tell me more about yourself Rae. Do you have siblings?" Elle asked. Napatigil naman ako sa tanong niya.
