It was March 25, 2011, the day of the biggest BMX contest in my town. It was the final round to see who was gonna place 1st and 2nd. It was my opponent and I's final run. My opponent went first. She pulled off a manual for 6 feet, J hopping and clearing the fun box, and ending with a 50-50 across the quarter pipe. Then went my run. I pulled off a bull hop into a J hop, then manualing 6 feet, and finishing with a 360 on the quarter pipe. The placings were me in 1st and my opponent in 2nd. She came up to me, punched me in the arm and said "You got skill. I'm Chole".
"Uh hay I'm Kaleigh. Thanks. You are good too". I said nervously. Oh my god she was so beautiful. So we continued to talk and I got her number. (Score!) We were talking as friends for a while then started talking and bam. We have been dating for this long.
