15. Harsh Encouragement

It's 3 pm when we arrive at jades home. I found out from imtel that she's 29, 5"6 brown hair and bright green eyes, very much like my own. I knock on the door alone, Flynn, Alessio, Jacob and a few men wait in the van watching my every move with guns loaded.

A very pretty woman answers "Jade Nova?"

"Yes? Who are you?"

"My name is Chloe, I'm your cousin. Can I come in ?" She steps out of the way suspicious of something happening. "Your father is paul Lang. Correct?"

"Yes, is he ok? What happened?"

"Do you know what he does for a living Jade?"

"H-he's a electrician. Why? What does this has to do with anything?" She sences somethings wrong. I can read her face like a book.

"He's not an electrician, he works in the Nova Mafia. I am the Boss and run the Lang mafia, your father has caused 2 deaths - my brother and my mother. He's currently tied up I my cell with 2 bullet holes in his leg." I softned my tone as I could see I was scaring her. "I don't want to hurt you, I don't want to cause you unnecessary pain or discomfort. Can you please come with me? If you do not oblige I will use force. Is that understood?"

"Yes. You want revenge?" Jade was scared. I didn't like that.

"I want answers Jade. Please collect some clothes, toiletries and pjs, you will be staying with us for a while." She rushed off upstairs and came down a few minutes later with a large rucksackand some pillows.

"There is a van outside. In that van there are my body guards Flynn, Jacob and Alessio. Also there are 6 men with very big guns. They will not shoot anyone unless I say so. We also beleive you could be danger. Since paul has gone quiet they will start tracking down those who surround him. That starts with you. You are valuable, other mafias will come in and hold a gun to your head and order you to speak. That's not the way I work. Will you do everything I say? I promise it is the only way you keep your life."

She nodded quickly

"Thank you. Please, follow me." She still said nothing. She froze when she got to the van but reluctantly got in and sat down.

When we arrived Jade was wary of everything around her. The guns, the ammo, the men. Everyone but me.

"Can I see my dad? "

"I will show you your room and then you can see him. Follow me." We went intot he house and up stairs. I opened the door 1 floor beneath mine and Alessios bedroom. She looked at the room in awe.

"Your not a prisoner so you will be staying here. Place your things down and we can see your father."

We start walking down the stairs to the cell. We reach the door and we both stop.

"When we enter the room I will place fake blood on your nose and I will hold you by the hair. Your an asset to us. Are you okay with this?"

"Yes."

"When your in the house please call me boss. It shows that I should be shown respect"

"Yes Boss. " another woman places the blood on her nose and Alessios hand. I hold her by the hair. She screams. Good girl. We enter and Paul's eyes widen.

"Jade!?"

"You thought I was bluffing. I don't threaten. I promise. Take her next door. Dispose of her." Jade screams again.

Paul's breathing is heavy and uneven. I leave the room with Jade and the heavy door slams behind us. "Jade this is Flynn." I gesture to him and he smiles. "And this is Alessio Nova. Another mob boss and also my boyfriend. So piss us off and you're a dead man talking. Now Alessio is going to put his hand over your mouth and you will scream. I want your father to regret ever setting eyes on our enemy." She does at she is told and puts up a fight.
