"Are you 2ure we 2hould be doiing thii2?" A certain Captor asked, staring at the troll who was currently commissioning him to do a program for a prank. He had no idea who the prank was for, but he was getting an alright amount of money, so he didn't complain much. "II mean, thii2 ii2 heavy code. Dangerou2 two un2table people two. Can you ju2t tell me who iit ii2 for?" He asked, raising an eyebrow as he continued to code quietly. He had only been working on it for a day or two, but it was already nearly completed. "Oh silly! You don't have to worry about that!" The fuchsia blooded troll exclaimed happily. He cringed. He hated how peppy she was in this situation. Reading over the code for the first time, his eyes narrowed. "Thii2.... Thii2 ii2 for ED. II2n't iit?" The yellow blooded troll asked, looking at the screen. It clicked into place, all these.. Horrible messages. Messages saying she hated the troll, and that she regrets their friendship. Even he wouldn't have sent those messages, and he is an asshole. Nonetheless, he still finished the code, programming the last line. "There. IIt2 done. Don't u2e iit on hii2 weak day2." He warned, standing up as he adjusted his bicoloured glasses. He knew when a prank was being taken to far, and he was going to go monitor the hive of the Ampora to make sure nothing happens. He began to walk, silently cursing the fact that Feferi had chosen the farthest house from Eridan's. The only noise heard from the area were a few bugs and some stray animals. Sollux sighed, looking at the sky as he thought about what must be flashing on the seadweller's screen.
'CC: ) (ey, I t) (ink we s) (ould talk!
CC: I recently ) (eard from Karkat t) (at you ) (ave been reely unsupportive and rat) (er rude lately!! Roxy also has reported depressing conversations and terrible moods!!

CC: I'm sorry Eridan but I just cannot be proud of your be) (aviour!
CC: I don't think we will be keeping in touch.
CC: Sea you later! Maybe.'
He shuddered, shaking his head quietly. It was worse than the first time they stopped being Moirails. Plus, she had brought Roxy and Karkat into the conversation. His two most trusted friends in the entire neighbourhood, and she lied to him saying that they said he was horrible and had silly problems. It was causing the Captor himself pain, and that was only from coding it. He had recently begun to like the Ampora, seeing how he really did try hard to change his ways. He sighed, trying to block out those thoughts as he rubbed his temples. "When diid thii2 fuckiing walk get 2o long?" He asked to no one in particular, looking around. It seemed like he had been walking for ages, with no where to go and no actual destination in mind. "II doubt
ED wiill 2ee the me22age2 anytiime 2oon, 2o why am II ru2hiing?"He had seen the messages too soon.
He had seen all of the messages, and he had no idea what he had done. It was like his world was crashing down onto him. Again. Three of his most trusted friends would say that about him? And be so casual about it? He was rather appalled.
'CA: fef wwait, please'
He had a comma, this was important to him. But it appeared he had been too late, as Feferi disconnected shortly afterwards. He paused, looking at his hands as they shook quietly. Five months. Five months of this horrible dare. Five months of nothing but silence. No talking, no typing, nothing. He was left with his thoughts and only his thoughts, and those were not good thoughts. They were thoughts thaf drove even the sanest man insane, and the most cheerful and collected into the most corrupted and broken. Five months of only Feferi, Roxy, and Karkat. Now? He had no one. Not even Cronus, his own brother, would speak to him. He was utterly alone now, and he couldn't talk to anyone. A few days, he decided. A few days to see what happens, maybe he'll find out Fef was joking, maybe he will find out they were all just trying to surprise him with something. He hoped it was those options. He prayed and hoped and wished on everything he could think of.
But magic isn't real.
It's never been real.
He knows this.
