Joe and I are currently in the recording studio, and we are about to record the final track for our debut duet LP, Alyssa and Joey: Singing Marvin and Tammi's Tunes. Harrington and Sherman are in the sound booth, making some last-minute preparations for the last recording. Then, Harrington looks at us and exclaims "Alright! "Good Lovin' Ain't Easy to Come By," take one!"

"(Both)
Good lovin' ain't easy
Good lovin' ain't easy
Good lovin' ain't easy to come by

(Joe)
Oh, darlin'
That's the kind you offer me
It's just the love to be found

(Alyssa)
'Cause we're workin' on a building
Nobody can tear down

(Both)
Look what we got, honey

(Both)
Good lovin' ain't easy
Good lovin' ain't easy, darling
Good lovin' ain't easy to come by

(Joe)
Oh, no, no
I've tried the good life
And I know
It's a playground
Where no one cares

(Alyssa)
But at last
You find out that don't compare

(Both)
To what we've got, honey

(Both)
It takes more than just a song and dance
Ya got to work and fight
To give it a chance

(Joe)
Well, if the rain comes down on us
And there ain't no place to run

(Alyssa)
We'll just cover ourselves with a blanket of love
Wait 'til the morning comes

(Joe)
Baby, let's do it today

(Alyssa)
Inflection

(Both)
Give us protection

(Both)
Good lovin' ain't easy to come by

(Joe)
Some think it's just a plaything
You can toss away when it's old

(Alyssa)
But we know the value increases
It is worth more than gold

(Both)
That's what we got, oh oh

(Joe)
Oh, it ain't easy to come by

(Alyssa)
Good lovin' ain't easy to come by, no no
Good lovin' ain't easy to come by, oh, lovin'

(Joe)
It ain't easy to come by..."

With wonder in my eyes, I look at Harrington and Sherman. "Okay! That was good!" Harrington exclaims. Happily, Joe and I high-five each other. Joe looks at Harrington and asks "So, when will the release date for the LP be?" For a brief moment, Harrington appears to ponder over a response. Then, he responds, "The release date will possibly be in late June or early July." "That's cool with me," I reply, nodding. Sherman looks at me, saying "Babe, I'm proud of you for doing this. Soon, I hope you can release a solo LP. However, your idea of doing a duet LP as your debut was a smart idea, darling." "Yeah, I hope Darby will like it, too," Joe says. What? Who in the hell is Darby? Puzzled, I look at Joe and asks "Wait, what happened with Carlo?" With nervousness in his voice, Joe replies "Uh, we split up a few weeks ago." "Oh, okay" is my response. Briefly, I look at Sherman, and he has a puzzled expression on his face. I'm sure he probably wants to know who Darby is, too. Honestly, I don't believe Joe. I went to his house a few weeks ago, and him and Carlo looked perfectly happy together. Something's up here, and I don't fucking like it.
