I stared at her with my jaw hanging open. How is this even possible? "You are behind this all? Seriously? You! My mother?!" "Watch your tone with me, young lady. I thought I raised you better than this?"
"Well I guess you thought wrong. But it's not like you have the right to talking to me like you're my mother, you've lost all privileges the moment you throw me and a bunch of innocent people into a prison in the centre of nowhere! And that's not the best bit! Oh, it doesn't even cover half the shit the mechanical monsters you've summoned to scare or murder us. Does that sound like the woman I used to know, mum? Not exactly the mother of the year type, are you?"
She began to laugh coldly before saying, "You don't even know the half of it. It's all about to get even more crazier, I'm just wondering if your fragile mind can handle it all so soon."
Allison's p.o.v
The boxes arrived today, it's been three weeks and four days since Stiles and Lydia have been missing. We haven't receive any other evidence that proved they are even alive. Sighing, I held Lydia's scroll necklace and smiled at how much a person can affect someone in a matter of days. It's truly the most insane thing ever.
It was early in the morning, I been staring at Lydia's empty bed with my runner gear all ready and waiting for the sun to rise. I've been doing this since the day Parrish had thrown her into the maze. Speaking of Parrish, Scott had him punished until any more evidence of Lydia or Stiles arrives. Most people thought of this as cruel but I think it seems fair, after all, he put them in that state in the first place.
The sun began to glow on the horizon as I whispered to where Lydia would of been lying down peacefully sleeping. "I'll never stop finding you, Lydia. Even if my life depends on you, I'll avenge your dead and also give you the memorial and a moment of silence; something Deaton did not get..."
I began to run off into to the entrance and waited for the other runners to appear. Once they all appeared, I ordered them to go to a section and we all ran to the doors we needed to go through.
Lydia's p.o.v.
My so called mother grabbed my arm and yanked it back with such force that my arm was nearly pulled out of its socket. "Listen to me when I am talking to you, young lady! If you dare pull an act like that again, I will throw you into your own individual maze without any weapons and with some small amount of food and see if you can get out of that! Understood?" I sighed and nodded but however, she didn't realise that I had managed to take her key with me. "Yes." "Good, now you may leave." I rolled my eyes and walked to my room and started to plan my escape plan.
After a few moments of thought, I had managed to perfect a plan. The plan was risky and had quite a lot of places which it could go wrong but I have to get out of this place.
It was midnight and most of the workers were asleep or had left, only a few guards and doctors roamed around the building like ghosts. Cautiously scanning the door, I began to tiptoe to Stiles' room whilst trying my best to not make any sound. Successfully reaching the door, I noticed a small dent on Stiles door. Something must of crashed with such ridiculous impact to have caused a dent on a metal door.
I closed my eyes trying to calm my nerves, as I scanned the key card in. I pushed the door open and walked into Stiles' strangely pitch black room. His room was so quiet that it caused an unsettling feeling as I walked in.
I turned on the light in his room and looked at the his bed to see it was messy and had a leg missing and so was Stiles. I frantically looked around the room and froze at the sight of him laying down onto the floor next to the door with blood pouring down his head and was staining the white carpet and turning it nearly black from the amount of blood. I gasped and saw the metal leg from his bed laying on the floor with bloodstains covering it.
I hurried towards him, not knowing how I didn't hit him with the door and helped him to his bed and began to use my med jack training that Danny had taught me. I tried to shake him awake, to get him to at least wake up, but there was no use.
It was at that moment, did I realise that I didn't know what to do with my life. I've been questioning myself lately about how I feel and who I was supposed to be, but nothing really made sense to me, life just constantly made me feel like I didn't really belong anywhere. But I don't really know what I'll do when I escape here with Stiles, how am I supposed to save the other Gladers from here? Where will I go?
My negative thoughts were interupted by Stiles muttering and moving around in his sleep. I gasped and was filled with joy to know that he was still alive. "Lydia, why are you in my room?" I wrapped my arms around him and began to cry into his arms. "I thought you died! I came here to get us out of here, for good. But how are we going to save our friends?" He smiled slight and then frowned at what I had just said. "You came back for me?" "I wouldn't leave you to these monsters. Stiles..." "Yes?"
"My mother runs this place." His frown deepened and then looked at me. "How?" "Let's not talk about this right now and let's get back home."
He smiled slightly but his eyes held a took sadness into them and began to nod. I helped him up and we began to limp towards the end of the corridor leading to the exit of the complex. The corridors were dimly lit and the only source of light was the computers that haven't been switched off in the other side of the building. Stiles was huffing in pain at times but demanded to not stop at all until we had left. We managed to successful scan the door but to our surprise stood armed men and women with their guns pointing to our heads on the other side of the door. Instinctively, Stiles stood in front of me and glared at them.
"Subjects, please calmly return to your assigned rooms." "Only if you tell us how you found us so easily." I pulled my gun out from my pocket and pointed it to Stiles' head. "You need us alive, so what makes us think that you will use your guns? I am not a very happy person when it comes to people getting in the way of what I want, so let's make this clear. You will move out of our way or I will kill him or myself." "You're bluffing!" "Maybe I am or maybe I'm not. But you don't want to test it, do you?" "Lydia, put your gun down, we all know you won't do it." I frowned at the voice as the group of guards began to make way for her, and there she stood, my mother with a gun in her hands pointing it towards us.
"You don't really know anything, do you?" "What are you talking about?" "Stiles, I'm controlling more of your life than you think. Why do you always think you can hearing people talking from a distance whenever the world turns dark?" She blabbering on but we both stared at confusion and annoyance. "What are you trying to say! Explain it properly!" "I always win, Stiles." Stiles face began to become pale and he shook his head furiously. "YOU'RE NOT HERE! I GOT RID OF YOU!" "But did you really?" She stepped forward and now her voice was different. Her usual authority like tone had been replaced with a man's voice that I have recognised from hearing at the back of my head.
She walked towards us with a gun still aiming at us, then she raised one of her hand towards her head and pulled her face off to show a man with his face wrapped. "N-no... no... NO! YOU CAN'T BE HERE!" "That's not the end of it. This will make you loose your mind." The guards pulled their helmets off and they just disappeared. "I always win, Stiles."
