Unrequited

Chapter 3

Tori woke up bright and early, it took a minute for her to figure out she was on the beanbag still, but once she got her bearings she got up, reached out for her glasses and headed downstairs to make breakfast. She'd made 2 stacks of pancakes for her and Dan and was just washing up when she heard someone padding down the stairs.

"Well, look who slept in" said Tori as Dan walked into the kitchen.

"Says the one who fell asleep half way through our Daredevil marathon" Dan replied with a smirk, "just be grateful that I covered you up"

"Well you wouldn't of gotten any pancakes if you didn't" Tori flicked water at Dan.

"What was that for?" Said Dan, with a mouthful of pancakes.

"You watched daredevil without me" Tori faked looking offended.

Dan walked over to Tori, put her arms around her, and in a mocking tone said "Oh Tee, I'm so sorry" Dan reached out behind Tori to a cup on the draining board and put it under the tap that Tori left running. "so sorry" Dan jumped back and dumped the cup of water all over Tori.

"WHY?" Yelled Tori "I made you pancakes!" She cupped her hands under the tap and splashed Dan as much as she could before running to the other side of the room to grab a towel.

The two carried on like this until they were soaked through. Somewhere along the line Dan had managed to pour half a bottle of fairy liquid into the sink and the whole room was a wet, soapy mess.

As one final bout, Tori charged at Dan with a ton of bubbles in hand. Dan dodged to the side, grabbed onto Tori's arms and spun her back around. At the sudden movement Tori lost her footing on the slippery floor and fell backwards, taking Dan with her. When the girls landed their faces were barely an inch from one another's. Dan, who was grinning like a chesere cat, took the glasses from her friend and put them on herself.

"I think you'll find, I win" she said smugly.

"Yeah, whatever," laughed Tori, "just get off me would you?" Dan pecked Tori on the nose before jumping up and turning off the tap. "Glasses?" Tori held put her hand. Dan groaned and reluctantly handed over the glasses before heading towards the stairs. "Oh no, girl you are not leaving me to clear this up myself."

"I wasn't going to... I was just going to the bathroom..." Said Dan, while she was still backing towards the staircase.

"Daaaannn..." warned Tori.

"Gotta run!" Dan sprinted up the stairs with Tori chasing behind her, into the bathroom and locked the door.

"Open up" screamed Tori, banging on the door as hard as she could "Dan!"

"Sorry," Dan started the shower running "can hear you I'm in the shower.

"Bitch"

"Hey!" Dan objected

"You heard that fine," laughed Tori as she walked down the stairs in defeat. 'Devious Dan' she thought and giggled to herself. She walked passed the barely touched Pancakes and took a piece. "Ew, cold"

"What are you girls doing, you were making so much n-- TORI!!"

"er... mum.."
