Chapter 12: Jason turns 2

It's Jason birthday and he's turning 2. Jason is fine and fully recovered from the incident in November. Draco has been even more active on Jason's life if that's possible. He's also thrown away all peanut butter products in his home. I've thought a lot about what Draco said about giving him another chance. My heart is saying to take him back and just give one more chance but head is saying no he's hurt you to many times. Ugh it's so confusing. But I'm not worrying about that today because today my son's birthday.

Jason was up at 7 so I was up too. I made him chocolate chip pancakes. George came in at 8 and eat some pancakes.

"You know. Your cooking rivals mums." George says with a mouth full of food. "Don't tell her I said that." He says before swallowing.

"Speaking of mum. We have to leave soon of we want to make it to Jason's party." I say wiping Jason's face.

Time skip

George, Jason, and I all arrive at mum's on time. Jason gets snatched from me by Owen.

"Tommy!" She yells.

Tommy is talking to Charlie but stops and yells "What?".

"I want one!" She says and holds up Jason.

"Ok. Me too." He yells and then continues  his conversation with Charlie.

"Aww dear so good to see you." Mum says crushing me into a hug.

"Mum I see you every Sunday for dinner. It's Tuesday. "

"Oh shut it. " she says hitting my shoulder and walks into the kitchen.

"Hey Girl. How's it been." A. J asks.

"Good. I haven't seen you in a while. "

"Yeah well my job keeps me busy but I enjoy it."

A. J is an ambassador for the ministry and travels all over the world.

"Well I'm glad you could make it." I smile.

"Me too."

There is a pop and Draco appears. He sees me and walks over. My heart hammers.

"Hey clovey. Where's the birthday boy?" He asks.

"He's either with one of his aunts or cousins. And don't call me clovey." I say and smile.

"Ok" he smirks and walks off.

"You still like him." A voice says behind me.

I turn to see Ron. "Pft. No what are you talking about?" I say

"I don't get it though after all the times he hurt you. You still love him. And before you ask how I know or you deny it let me say this. Hermione told me she know I loved her because it was in my eyes, the way I looked at her. I told her I knew she loved me because of her smile.   That smile that you gave is the same smile she gives me. And if you ask. That same look in his eyes when he looks at you is the same when I look at Hermione." Ron says.

"Still he has hurt me before."

"If you love someone, you tell them. Even if you're scared that it's not the right thing. Even if your scared that it'll cause problems. Even if you're scared that it will burn your life to the ground, you say it, and you say it loud and you go from there. (Anyone know where the quote is from? No? Okay) " Ron says.

I want to respond but mum says. "Alright everyone time for presents. "

I walk over and sit by Jason on his left and Draco is on his right.

Jason gets gifts from:

Amber, Charlie, and Sophia- ball to play with outside, bath toys, and cute hogwarts shirt.
Fluer, Bill, and Victorie-  Hercules movie, jeans and green shirt
Hermione, and Ron- stuffed animal owl, toy cars, and cute sunglasses.
Ginny, Teddy, and Harry- animal figures to play with, and holy head harpies jersey,
Percy and Audrey- Quidditch blanket.
A. J- little sand box with sand toys. (It will stay at the burrow)
George and Angelina- cute hood that says "I'm a trouble maker"
Blaise and T. J- little black converse, and a slytherin blanket.
Owen and Tommy-  peter pan movie, peter pan toys, and a shirt that says "I'm from
Neverland"
Mum and dad- tiger stuffed animal (Jason's favorite animal, book about Quidditch, nice blue plaid shirt and some money for his savings account when he's older.
Me- some new shirts, jeans, and shorts. A blue beanie, the jungle book movie and a memory book with his name on it.
Draco-  a slytherin sweatshirt, Teddy bear, building blocks, and a plush snitch,quaffle. Bludger and bat.

After presents we had cake. Mum of course out did herself again and made an amazing Peter Pan cake. Though out the party I've been thinking what Ron said. And gazing now at Draco in the living room playing with Jason and his plush beaters bat I know what i half to do.

I get up and walk over to them and say "Draco I need to talk to you." 

"Ok" he smiles.

"Somewhere alone."

"Oh. Ok." He gets up and follows me into the kitchen.

"Ok now you just listen and don't say anything until I'm done". I say.

"Ok."

"I will probably hurt you again (when she kept Jason form seeing him), and you'll hurt me. And I'll come right back to you again when you do.  I accept the risk. Because  you're worth it. Because you matter to me. Because I love you. And I'm not going any where. (Again anyone know where this is from? Still no? Ok.) " I say.

"Is this your way of saying you forgive me and are giving me another chance?" Draco asks hopefully.

I take a deep breathe and say "yes."

I am sooooooo sorry for the lack of updating. I've been extremely busy with school and practice. I hope you liked the chapter there is only 3 left including the epilogue. Love you all. Thanks for the support.
