Mermaids:
Appearance/Temperament- Mermaids appear as young elvish girls when seen above water, besides the fish tail (Colours usually change when exposed to a different environment) that replaces their legs. However, underwater, they are hideous, scaly monsters, with large talons and teeth. The mermaids eat the unlucky men they charm, and sometimes stray trolls if necessary.
Where to find them- Mermaids prefer to stay in groups ranging from five to ten, in areas near the bay. Deep-ocean mermaids are just as common, and travel anywhere the food goes.
How to contact- To come in contact with the mermaid, simply walking into their territory will do it. But, if you are at sea, throwing yourself into the water will work. (I do not recommend.)

Nymphs:
Appearance/Temperament- They take the form of beautiful women, putting their prey into a trance, and drowning them, or killing them in another way. Usual prey are ogres and centaurs. They are very sneaky, and have sharp teeth. If they like you, they will ask you to sing with them. If they see you as worthy, you will become a Nymph, yourself.
Where to find them- Springs, swamps, high in treetops.
How to contact- If there is a need to, you must be careful. You must never look into their eyes, nor let them touch you. If you do-or do not do, in this case-they will give up after a little bit, and be willing to speak to you.

Ogres:
Appearance/Temperament- Standing at around 6-8 feet are ogres, the bullies of the continent. Their skin is a tough, leathery black, with horns(?) on top of their head. They usually like to be alone, and if you ever find yourself seeing one, do not go any closer. They're mean sons of bitches.
Where to find them- You can usually encounter them wandering around the part between the forest and the mountains.
How to contact- Don't.

Sea Serpents:
Appearance/Temperament- Rather large serpents dwelling in oceans, most larger than two Elven war ships (roughly sixty metres a piece). They vary in colour, from a murky brown to deep-ocean blue, in order to blend in with its surroundings.
Where to find them- Oceans, large lakes (deeper than 700 metres), and any other large body of water that is at least 68% salt water.
How to contact- Slaughter a medium-sized ram upon your ship about two miles away from shore; then toss as far away as possible into the ocean.

Trolls:
Appearance/Temperament- It usually depends on how you approach them first, similarly to a human. They're highly intelligent creatures, so they're usually found lumbering around with a book (maybe) or wrestling with one another. They have large, bat-like ears, which depict which mood they're in, because they're expressive with them, with long claws, and dull teeth. They commonly stand around six feet tall, with bulging eyes. Despite being smart, they refuse to take baths, so they stink horribly. Colors range from black to other dark colors such as green, blue, brown, and purple.
Where to find them- Easiest in the swamps, but you can also find them anywhere else including the forest and beach.
How to contact- You must search for them. They're actually pretty social creatures, so if you approach them calmly, they'll most likely treat you kindly, unless they're already angered (you can tell, ears sticking straight up into the air), then DO NOT APPROACH.

Unicorns:
Appearance/Temperament- Standing five to six feet tall, Unicorns are pure white, with gold hooves and a singular horn on their forehead. The female's tails are usually longer than the male's. Unicorns are extremely intelligent, and can live up to two hundred years.
Where to find them- Unicorns can be found in the Elven forests, near the edge of the territory.
How to contact- You can contact a Unicorn by traveling to the Elven forests and simply looking. However, if you seek their intelligence and wish to use it immaturely, they will refuse to appear to you.
