Flashbacks
"It was terrible," Liam said as he slipped into a sort of trance. "I was in the kitchen at our holiday chalet, getting some snacks for my father and myself when I heard a sound that will forever haunt me; the sound of someone pulling the trigger of a shot gun!"
"As I bolted out of the doors that led to the beach all I could think was Dad's on the beach, please let him be ok."
As Liam stopped to choke back a sob, Lexi dabbed her eyes with a scrunched up old tissue that she found in the deeps of her pocket.
Liam started again after a moment of thought.

I called "Dad" but no reply came. As soon as I looked upon the place where my dad's body lay, I knew that nothing would never be the same.
Lexi breathed in before asking "did you see the person who had done it?"
"Yes" Liam said "but I only saw that he had brown hair, it was cut short and that he had a massive red birth mark on the back of his neck."
Lexi closed her eyes as she had a flashback of what happed to her own mother. It was almost identical to the way Liam's father had been murdered. Lexi breathed out shakily and slowly opened her and looked at Liam.
