A New Friend

Chapter 3

 
Before either of you knew it was morning you woke up in a different position 
than you fell asleep.  You opened your eyes slightly to see the door.  But you still felt the thin arm around your waist and soft snoring in your ear.  You gently 
turned towards the sleeping Dan.  you just looked at his completely at ease face he had never seemed more at peace then right now.  You stayed there looking at Dan for
what felt like hours.  Dan soon began to stir as the minuets passed he had opened his eyes slowly realising where he was and replacing a morning face with a wide smile.

Dan had realised you were in his arms and looking at him, he looked down a bit and looked you in they eyes.

"Good morning Destiny." he said with his morning voice which i had never heard before in person.

"Good morning sleepy head." you said with a smile removing your hand from his chest and begging to play with his slight hobbit hair. 

"you really should leave your hobbit hair in more.." you said with a small croak

"Maybe i will now.." he said with a smirk pretending to be flirty

"wow Dan being flirty after sleeping with me that's original." I said making fun of his flirty behavior

He blushed for some weird reason but laughed it off.  we stayed there in my bed cuddling for a little while longer.  Soon we sat up and i stood up out of bed.

"Where are you going Destiny I'm cold now..." he said whining cuddling up with my duvet

"wow Dan that was very cheesy...But i was going to go make some breakfast stay in bed ill bring it to you." I stated happily leaving before he could comment

I walked into my kitchen and I opened fridge and cupboards trying to think of what to make.  I decided to make some pancakes American style of course because that's the
only way i knew how.  I soon had a pan out it heated and then the mix made up in a matter of no time.  I had decided on making some for Kendra and Phil to and my 
homemade recepie.  You were nearly done when you heard foot steps behind you.  Then suddenly someones arms were placed on your shoulders.  You looked up to see a 
still sleepy Dan.

"Dan i told you to stay in bed it was going to be a surprise." I had whined

"But i could smell it and couldn't help but want to come out and help." he said with a smile

I sighed and looked back at him after flipping the current pancake.  You kissed his arm not thinking of why.  This was not like you i mean sometimes you were flirty
with people but not like this.  I decided to push that thought out of my mind and continued making pancakes Dan trying to help.  We goofed around while i finished off
the rest of the batter.  Soon enough I had Dan call Phil to have them both come over for breakfast.  our table had been set up along with our chairs so i had Dan help
me set the table.  I also had orange juice so i had that and the cups and Dan had the pancakes and the plates.  I made a second trip getting the syrup and butter.
We soon heard the door open and the table was set Dan and i sitting across from each other.  We took our pancakes as the two love birds took there seats. Kendra next
to Dan and Phil next to me.  We said our good mornings and were silent while eating.  the pancakes were completely gone by then end of our meal

" Oh my god Destiny these are the best pancakes a mean Jesus Christ." Dan said with a slight moan as he finished his last bite.

"why thank you Dan." i said with a smile

"So what did you two get up to last night." I said looking directly at Kendra.  A blush immediately forming on her cheeks

"Oh nothing much watched a movie hung out and talked you know the usual." Phil had spoken up
