A New Friend

Chapter 4

The next few days you and Dan didn't really see each other in person but either called, texted or face timed as you 
and Kendra really needed to finish unpacking.  Unpacking everything really only took the rest of the week.  Jillian and Natalie had come into the loop more after they
settled into there apartment.  They were over at ours all the time after we all got settled in.  The next thing i knew we had been living in London for 6 months and 
I enjoyed every minuet of it.  The boys and us girls had become a lot closer.  Kendra and Phil specifically had hung out everyday and when they weren't hanging out they
were texting.  Dan and you had shipped them since day one and now you thought i might actually come true. 

Dan and i had also become really close we may not see each other everyday but you texted all the time and face timed frequently.  One day you got a very interesting 
text from Dan.

Dan: Hey Destiny will you be my date to this party i have to go to?

Me: sure when is it?

Dan: Tonight...

Me: Okay short notice what kind of party casual formal what?

Dan: casual but wear a dress I've never seen you in one plzzz

Me: i hate dresses...But fine just for you

Dan: yaaaaa oh and if you want you can invite Jillian and Natalie Phil probs already invited Kendra...lol

Me: probs okay ill text them just a sec

I texted the girls right away and got a message back immediately.  Yes of course they said yes

Me: they said they'll be there they will meet us here :) what this party for anyway?

Dan: oh its just a party at Chris's place you haven't met him

Me: no but i know who he is..lol

Dan: of course you do you YouTube hobo

Me: ya totally true what are you wearing tonight then?

Dan: Probs black skinnies and my white bug shirt

Me: I love that shirt on you wear a blazer to look dressy...lol

Dan: Okay mom :)

Me: oh haha what time should we leave?

Dan: probs 7 it takes a bit to get there

Me: Okay so in like an hour...ttyl i need to get ready see you later babe...lol

Dan: Babe really?

Dan: oh because your my date...duh OK see you soon

You laughed at him and hoped in the shower for a quick one.  When i got out i had decided to wear my little black dress with a clear strip in the middle.  I French 
braided on side of my head almost like corn rows.  I did simple makeup eyeliner and mascara,  finally i pulled on my white converse i was never one for flats or heels.
I looked in the mirror and felt like something was missing.  I went to my closed and saw my black leather jacket i slipped that on and walked back over to the mirror.
I nodded to myself i felt good and thought i looked good.  I walked out of my bedroom seeing the time Kendra was sat on the couch in black skinnies and loose tank and 
a jean/hoodie jacket.  i looked at the jacket and smacked her arm

"steal my cloths much" i said with a laugh

She looked at me and her eyes widened.

"you look great why are you wearing a dress the party's casual." she said with a smile

"oh well Dan wanted me too so here i am." i said with a smirk

There was a light knock at the door. Kendra and i walked over together it was Jillian and Natalie.  they smiled at me and we gave them hugs and welcomed them it.  
7 was nearing and then i heard a knock at the door this time we all got up and i opened the door.  It was Phil and Dan behind him

"You look nice Destiny you guys ready to go?" he asked looking towards Kendra

"thank you Phil and yes we are." i said i was the responsible and had the keys.

The girls walked out into the hall and started down the stairs while closed the door and locked it.  Dan stayed behind and waited for me while the others continued 
walking. I turned to him and smiled he let me walk down the stairs first. we reached the bottom of the stairs and followed the others close behind walking to Chris's.

"Destiny you look amazing...beautiful really."  He said at a loss for words

"Why thank you Daniel you don't look to bad yourself." I said with a smile

"well I'm glad i can call you my date for the night." He said with a smirk

I laced my arms with his as we walked and talked.  The walk was not far at all and we were there in no time.  We walked up the stairs to Chris's house.  Dan and Phil 
took the lead at this point. Chris smiled and welcomed us him into his home.  I was the last one to enter Chris closed the door being me.  I walked back over towards
Dan standing nervously.  Dan smiled to himself and introduced all of us to Chris. Chris was smiling and bubbling We entered Chris's lounge and we were introduced to a 
already present PJ.  It was not long until more people were filling up the absolutely lovely home.  But we all seemed to be in our own little bubbles.  Phil and Kendra
were together because they were being the responsible ones for the night. Natalie and PJ had been hitting it off quiet well since we got here.   Jillian and Chris had
also been hitting it off quiet well. So that left Dan and I to hang out.

The house was soon full of people and had loud music playing.  the lounge was bustling with activity that Dan and yourself hadn't been apart of.  The dining room soon 
turned into a grind fest for all the drunk men and women present. Dan and i had walked into the full kitchen making our way to the drinks. 

"Destiny what do you want?" he asked loudly over the music

"Just a beer is fine?" I said smiling at him

He nodded and took a bottled beer and handed it to me he also took one. You mouthed a thank you and went back to the lounge and lent against a wall in the corner.  
We stood there in silence observing all the people here interact.  I very quickly finished my beer needing a social lubricant.  Dan had finished his as well and 
offered to get me another.  I agreed and stayed where i was, while Dan was gone a few boys had come up to me obviously trying to get in my pants.  I declined and 
waited patiently for Dan.  This happened a few more times after my fourth beer I could feel that i was tipsy.  Dan looked at me and laughed After my fourth I went to 
get myself and Dan a couple shots because i was ready for the hard stuff. 

Dan and I were now drunk and socially lubricated.  Somehow i convinced him to dance we started out dancing like normal human beings.  But then the song changed and 
there was a completely new vibe to the room Dan and I then started dancing together the alcohol taking us away from real life.  I had taken Dan's hand and pulled him to 
the corner of the room pulling him close to me having a mission set in my drunk mind. I leaned in when my arm was grabbed and yanked away. Kendra had pulled me away 
form Dan and Phil pulled Dan away from me.  Kendra aimlessly tried to keep me distracted but i continued to look for Dan.  I some how managed to slip away from her
and found Dan

"Hey Dan want to get out of here?" I said with a drunken smile

"Hell yes." Dan said with his own drunken smile

We walked out of the party alone and held hands as we walked home. I welcomed Dan into my home and we walked towards my bedroom.  I had soon changed out of my dress 
and into something a little more comfortable. I walked up to a laid down Dan i went to straddle his waist as i noticed he was asleep on my bed.  Now that i was a little
less drunk and more tipsy i took off his shoes and jacket.  Leaving him in his skinnies and button up shirt.  I then put the duvet over him and crawled into my own
bed next to him ready for sleep.  My eyes were soon closed and as i was nearly asleep i felt Dan rustle behind me.  Dan had changed his position and instinctively 
placed his arm around my waist and scooted closer to the warmth.  I was now fully asleep and content with my life.
