(I made a mistake the girl from the last chapter name is Brianna not destiny. Imma go back and change that.)

I brushed my hair and put it in a ponytail . It was finally time for me to go back to nursing school and for Mia to go to preschool. I walked out of my room and over to Mia's room where August was doing her hair as she played with the pink ponytail holder in her hand.

I chuckle " good morning."

I bend down and gave her a kiss on her cheek.

Mia: morning."

I punched August in his arms but not hard
" morning."

August : oww damn Jess."

" oh please.that didn't hurt one bit and watch ya mouth."

August: yeah it did and yeah my bad."

After he was done with her hair. I made sure she had everything for school while he got ready.

" you got your pencils?" I asked her before she zipped her bag.

She nodded

" okay good."

She zipped it up, we left out her room and walked downstairs. August came down stairs dressed and ready to go.

" you going with mommy or daddy?"

Mia: both."

" Mia we can't, daddy's-"

I was cut off by August

August: it's cool I'll drop and pick yall up."

Mia: yay!"

" you sure , I know you gotta-"

August: positive."

I shrug my shoulders " alright then ."

August:  Lego"

I held Mia's hand and we walked out the door.
I walked to the car and he popped the lock opening the doors. I made sure she was safely in and walked around to the passenger side and got in. He then came in the car and start it up before backing out.

We pulled up to Mia's school, and it was a little late. I got out of the car so that I could walked her to class.

Mia: daddy you not coming?"

August: yeah."

He turned off the engine and pull out the keys before stepping out of the car,With his tall azz.
We all walked in the building as Mia walked between us. We walked down the hall and made a right. Which her class was the second door right there.

We stopped at the door and she took her backpack which August was holding. The teacher came to door and greeted us before taking her inside. I watched as she sat right next to Layla Brianna's daughter. They both waved and I waved back before blowing Mia a kiss and walking off.

I then notice August wasn't walking to me and stop in my tracks. I turned around and saw him Bend down talking to Mia, I smile and waited. He gave her a kiss on her forehead and she smiled then skipped back into the class.

He walked up to the side of me and throw his arm around me pulling me into him as he continued to walk. I chuckle and took his arm  from around me pulling away and speeding up my walk so I was in front of him.

August : Jessica turn around."

I continue walking and pushed the door open stepping outside.

" nope."
