J POV

" ok brianna thanks , and mia baby be good okay?"

She nodded i gave her a hug and kiss

" see you guys later , Bye laylah! "

I watched as Brianna and the girls walk to her car. They all got in and she drove off. I closed the door and locked it behind me making my way back up stairs. I was about to turn the corner when me and august hit into each other.

" watch where you going." I looked at him

August: yeah whatever, Mia left already?"

I nodded " yeah she said to tell you bye and she loves you. See if u woulda hurry up out the bathroom you would've been able to see her before she left."

August: " yeah i know but where they headed??"

" some new fun house for kids she supposed to be back about in an hour or two."

He nodded

August : ight , well I'm heading to the studio ."

" alright.. And I'm bout to head to the store to meet up with Ash."

August: wait you going dressed like that??"

" yeah."

August: nah u joking.. Ma i think thats a little to short. You showing to much ."

" August you really think Imma go out like this... Boy get up out my face ." I playfully rolled my eyes and suck my life teeth walking around him.

I felt him grab my wrist but not tight, it was gentle. He turned me around to face him and pinned me against the wall.

August: you just rolled yo eyes at me ?"

I gave him the resting bvtch face. Im not gon lie august hated when someone rolled their eyes at him. But i know he was just playing right now.

August: thats mad disrespectful ma."

" whatever, now lemme go .. You wasting both of our time. "

He came closer to my ear and when i tell you this man smelled good , he smell damn good.

August: you know how i feel bout that. Do it again and imma do somethings to you... If you know what i mean. "

He kissed my neck and walked away going down the stairs. I shake my head, rolling my eyes and continue making my way to my room.

I pressed the lock button on the car keys as i made my way into the grocery store. I walked and saw Ash standing up on the side looking down at her phone.

I walked over to her, she looked up.

" hey."

Ash: girl i was just about to call you."

"Traffic ash , traffic"

Ash: yeah sure , you and August probably mhmm before you left the house."

I sucked my teeth and walked over by the carts and got one.

" girl come on, you so into that phone. What's so interesting? care to share?"

Ash: jess aint shit interesting, unless you tryna see me and Isaiah argue about him helping me with his kids."
She sighed

" ohhh."

Ash: yess but lets go do what we gotta do girl."

Me and Ash was done shopping and right now i was on the way home since my baby would soon be home. She wasn't gone for long but i missed her.

*flashback*

I packed my bag with my books and other things i would need making sure nothing was missing. Since this would be my first day back to school after having Mia. I watched her in her crib as she cooed and move her little hands and feet up and down.

Imma miss her but i gotta go back to school( college). I put the bag on my back and pick her up outta her crib. Walking out of my room going down stairs.

I walked to where my mother was talking to my grams.

" morning  mom, grams." I each give of them a kiss on the cheek.

Jena: you going now."
She said stretching her hands out for Mia.

I nodded then looked at Mia.

" bye-bye Mia"
I baby talked to her

" momma gon miss you."

I gave her a kiss and was handing her over to my mom when she held onto me tighter."

" mommy's gotta go mama."

Some how my mom got her and my grams laughed. Mia started crying looking at me. My eye got teary.

Grams: baby just go she'll be just fine, the more you stand there the more she's  gonna cry."

I nodded
" yeah."

Jena( jess mom): have a good day baby."

" yeah I'll try, bye."

I walked out the living and made my way to the front door. I walked out and locked the door behind me as tears rolled down my cheeks.

I wiped them and tried to push the thought of leaving Mia behind me as i got in the car.
*flashback over.*

I pulled into the drive way and pulled out my phone, Calling Brianna.

??: hello

I heard a male voice answer as i frowned and pulled the phone away from my ear making sure i dialed the right number.

" hello , is Brianna there?"

??:  nah jessica."

I covered my mouth and my eyes widen as I realized the voice.

Jason: she aint here,  but mia is."

He hung up and the phone fell from my hand as i began silently crying and shaking my head. This cant be happening.
