Rain poured down from the black clouded sky's and fell onto an injured Leonardo.
The eldest turtles had just gone through a 'killed or be killed' battle with his worst enemy, Shredder.
Leo had won and all of his brothers cheered for him.
Laying on the rooftop in a puddle he breathed heavily. The rain washed all of the blood coming off his grassy green skin.
He looked up at the sky gladly knowing that he had vanquished their enemy and protected his family.
His family would no longer be in danger.
All of Shredders 'Minions' have given up and gone to work for a guy named Hiroshima all the way in Japan.
Leo was finally at rest.
"Great job, Leo! That was totally radical! You won!" The orange banded turtle shouted in glee as he walked over to the injured turtle.
"Mikey don't touch him. I'm sure he's very sore and wants to rest right now." The purple banded turtle spoke and he made his way behind Mikey to his eldest brother.
"Im sure he's fine Donnie. He is Fearless Leader after all. Say, Leo. Let me help you up from that puddle." The red banded turtle said in a calm and happy way.
The red masked turtle reached his hand down to help his oldest brother off out of the puddle and the eldest took his hand. Pulling on Leo's hand he pulled him to his feet.
Leo cried out in pain as his broken rib broke more and punctured his lung. Blood started to fill up that now punctured lung as Leo started to couch violently.
The two brothers hands broke apart as Leo fell to the ground as the oxygen started to leave him and he started to fade away.
"LEO!!" All three brothers shouted in harmony.
He struggled for air and blood started filling his throat and dripping out of his mouth. He gripped his neck trying to stop the blood from rising up into his throat.
"Donnie! Don't just stand there! Save him!" Raph shouted at his younger brother.
Donnie rushed closer to Leo and tried to figure out what had happened, but to no avail. He could not figure out what had happened to Leo that had made him go from cut mark bleeding to blood falling out of his mouth making him not be able to breathe.
The blue masked turtle knew he was dying so he laid back and closed his eyes accepting his fate. It was only fair that since he took out Shredder he should die leaving his brothers and father a safe world to live in.
"Leo you can't die!" Mikey shouted and gripped Leo's hand tightly as tears mixed in with the rain fell on Leo's body.
Leo closed his eyes and took his last breath as his grassy green skin turned into a lighter color.
"No! Leo you can't go! No one can take your place! I don't want to be the oldest brother!" Raph slammed his hands on the wet rooftop as tears started streaming down his face as he pounded on the rooftop.

All three of the brothers stood over Leo's deceased body for a good 2 hours before they took him to Splinter.
Later that evening they went and buried his body in a sacred place to give him eternal peace where he could rest with no worries.
