A were...cat?

Chapter 9

There is an alternate reality of this earth. Instead of normal humans it is populated by creatures of myth a legend, werewolves, vampires,angles and demons, all of these creatures live in that other reality. In that reality there were twelve lands, each ruled by a royal family.

The twelve royal families ruled in peace with only a few fights breaking out every once and a while. But one day a strange darkness covered all of the lands and the royal families began to be murdered one by one until four families were left. the heads of the families decided that in order to ensure their families survival they had to send one child from each family away. the children were sent to this reality and taken in by random humans with no way of knowing who or what the were. after they had sent away their children the four remaining families were murdered and a warlord rose up as the leader of all the lands but he was evil and ruled by fear. after years of being ruled by the tyrant the people began to search for any remaining members of the royal families and they heard the rumor that four children had survived so they began to search for them. eventually some searchers made their way to this reality.

hunter stopped his rambling explanation which had only made me even more confuse than i had been before he had explained. i wasn't sure what any of this had to do with me and if your wondering why I'm not surprised about the alternate reality just remember i can turn into a cat and the guy standing in front of me has wings. rustling behind me alerted me to Logan's return and i darted quickly behind hunter just in case he was still mad. when i peaked at him i saw a hurt expression on his face which he quickly masked when he realized i was looking.

"i brought you some cloths" he said holding up a bag from maurices which by the way is the only store that sells clothes that i will willingly go to.

"i had to guess at sizes so the might not fit right." he muttered placing the bag on the ground than he and hunter walked away to give me some privacy. i hid behind a nearby bush and tried to turn back into my human form eventually i managed to switch halfway i still had cat ears on my head and a tail but i didn't care i could cover them up if i had to. i slipped into the pair of jeans and the pink shirt with a flower on it, there was also some underwear which i was careful not to think about when i put it on. when i was done i briefly marveled at the fact everything fit pretty well before i stepped out from behind the bush and walked over to the boys. they both stared at me the blurted simultaneously

"you still have cat ears."

i glared at them and said " i also have a tail because nobody bothered to explain how to change back"

Logan was still starring at my ca ears when he said " that shouldn't matter just picturing yourself as human should make you change back all the way, i have never seen anyone retain an animal feature before."

"so now that we've established that im weird can someone explain what an alternate reality has to do with me" i asked

again they both stared at me except this time it was like they couldn't decide if i was stupid or not

"havent you figured it out yet?" said hunter

i was at this point tired and slightly ticked off so i had to force my self not to yell when i asked "figured what out"

this time it was Logan who said "kitty your one of the four missing children."
