I shoot up in bed with a huge smile plastered on my face.
Why you may ask?
First day of Grade ELEVEN!!! I am so excited I can't even word correctly how I feel!
I jump up out of bed and throw on a pair of black ripped shorts, and a pink logo tee that says "On Wednesdays we wear pink💕"
I know, I know it's the typical girly girl movie for a girly girl like me but I like it so who cares what everyone thinks.
Then I quickly french braid my hair to the side and leave a few strands left out on each side, also waffling the braid because, you know... Messy is the new beautiful ;) Then I wall down the stairs to meet my wonderful parent at the table, and of corse when I say parent I mean my mother.
My father fights in the army all year round they send him to countries that need soldiers. Although I'm glad he's fighting for our country and protecting people in other countries, I am always sad and depressed because I don't get to see my dad anymore.
"Asp, you okay honey?" I hear my mother ask breaking me out of my thoughts.
"Oh um uh .... yeah I'm good... hey mom?" I say giving her a crazy look at the end.
" Yes?"
"Guess what day it is?" I wiggle my eyebrows.
Before she gets the chance to answer I yell " First day of Grade Eleven!!!!"
She squeals and jumps up and down. Yeah , my mom is one of those best friend type of mom's. She does get her mom skills rolling if she needs to but that is rarely.
"Okay Honey, you better get driving!" She gives me a hug and I immidiately grab my keys and run out the door towards my car.
Yes, my car!! I got it last year for my 16th birthday, it's a light pink fiat with shiny silver rims.

I hop in and begin the drive to school which takes about 20 minutes, with 21 Pilots and Eminem blaring the whole way there.
Once I get to school I jump out of my car and just stare at the building in front of me. The building that let me meet all my friends and my boyfriend....
My Boyfriend is Colten Green, he is the sweetest and most caring boyfriend ever! He's hit me a few times but it probably was my fault I can get annoying I guess.
As soon as I step through the school doors his arm is around my waist and he gives me a kiss on the cheek "Hey Babe."He whispers in my ear then gives me a kiss.
"Hey!" I say with a huge smile.
"You're too happy for school Asp. Here let me walk you to class." He then leads me down the familiar halls to my first class, Drama. Yay!!

As I'm walking down the hall towards my locker I hear yelling,it's Colten's voice.
"Look here! Pretty boy wants to walk away! What is he chicken?!"
I run over to where Colten and his friends are and hide behind a wall to watch.
The guy next to him looked like he was about to cry, I just wanted to go and hug him why is my boyfriend such a bully?
When the he didn't answer him, Colten pushed him backwards and slammed his head into the lockers behind them.
I have to do something, why am I just standing here!!
"You should know by now not to walk away from me" Colten told him with venom dripping from his voice.
The boy tried to look away from Colt but knowing him he results to punching for any problem.
"What did I say" This is where I'm cutting in. This has gone on long enough. Don't you worry boy, I'll be your Wonder Woman!
"What did you say?" I say loudly so he will hear me.
"None of your business!" He yelled then dropped the poor guy to the ground and stalked over to me .
He has the same look as he does everytime, I know what's going to happen.
"So next time, leave me alone!"He shouts yet again.
I close my eyes and wait for the impact .
"No guy should do that to his girlfriend" I hear and the impact never comes.
I open my eyes and Colten has his back to me and this boy is trying to fight back.
Where is the damn principal when you need him!
Colten lifts his fiat and punches him yet again, this time with so much force it knocks him out.
I scream at first thinking he killed him because he was lying limp on the ground.
I run past a livid Colten to this poor guy. I should've intervened sooner, then he wouldn't have blood and bruises on his face and he wouldn't be lying unconscious on the nasty school floors.
I check the pulse on his neck. He's alive thank God! I look at his face, he's actually really cute with his shaggy brown hair and perfect facial features... why would Colt wanna pick on him? Jealousy is my guess.
I stand up and look at my fuming boyfriend.
"Colten, we're done." I tell him and turn around I see a few of my friends running down the hall with scared looks and asking me what happened.
I say one word "Colten." They are the only 2 I have told about Colten hitting me. Their names are Ireland and Ivory we have been friends since grade 7 when they moved to my elementary school.
"Can you guys help me bring him to the nurse's office?" They all nod me and Ireland lift him up while Ivory grabs his bag and books.
