Ugh my head. Should I open my eyes? Might as well. It sounds a lot different then home so, I know I'm not there.

My eyes slowly open.

"Omg Asp! He's waking up!" I hear a voice of a young girl waking up.

Once I found my vision, I saw three girls. I recognize all of them... Ireland, Ivory and... Omg... It's Aspen...

I try not to get dramatic because I'm in the same room as my crush since... Forever I asked "What happened? Where am I?"

"I'm soooo sorry! I broke up with him! He's a jerk! Did he hurt you bad?" Aspen said coming closer to me. Her hand touches my head and she looks above my eyes.

Oh yes! I remember what happened! Colten had did it again! Colten- 563 Hayden-

I gotta give myself a half a point for helping Aspen.

"Are you ok?" She asked me.

"I- uh- yeah" I told her stuttering after every letter.

She giggled along with her two friends. They must have noticed that I was daydreaming.

"Well, I should go.." I said feeling very awkward.

"Oh ok" Aspen said looking kind of upset.

"Do you- I mean you don't have to- but since your free- I-" I wanted to ask her out for coffee at Starbucks sometime but I didn't have any nerve.

"Yes?" She asked curious to know.

Ding- Ding- Ding

Great! Class! Might as well get it over with!

Finally! The end of school! I can go home to where I am safe.

I walk outside and lean against my car.

I gotta text Maddie.

H: hey little one! Come to my car I gotta take you home NOW or you will walk

I giggle. I know now that she has friends who will stick up for her. Unlike mine did. That story it for another time.

As I was about to but my bag away, I was tapped on the shoulder by a very feminine finger.

"Hayden?" She asked.

I looked around to see Ireland.

"Hey Ireland! What's up?" I asked her.

"Don't be afraid to come hang out with us sometime" she said to me.

"Oh ok! Thanks" I told her.

"Also..." She said. I looked down the road to see my sister coming this way."Here is Aspen's number, text her" she said giving me a paper and winking at me. I gave her a small (yet cheeky) grin.

"Thanks" I told her as she walked off.

"What was that about?" Maddie asked me.

"Oh nothing..." I said grinning like a mad man.

"Sure.." She said sarcasticly.

We got in the car but before I started it, I grabbed my phone and texted Aspen.

H: Hey Aspen, its Hayden... I was going to ask you something before the bell rang...

A: Sure! Anything!

H: would you like to get coffee at 7?

A: sure!

H: ok. See ya

A: yep :)

End text.

I started the car a set off to home.

This year is going to be better than expected.
