2 weeks later
Mikayla slowly stood up, she had spent ages in hospital recovering from her hit. Louis and harry offered her their arms for support, she took hold of them and shakily rose to her feet. The doctor, who had been with her the whole time, watched as she began to walk towards him, he smiled and nodded
"you seem fit enough to go home now"
everyone cheered and mikayla hugged him
"thank you"
he hugged her back then pulled apart
"just be careful"
mikayla looked confused
"when am i never?"
the others all stared at her with raised eyebrows and mikayla quickly shook her head
"dont argue against that"
they all laughed and liam got out some of mikayla's clothes, they had brought with them, he put them on the bed and before he could say anything courtney was ushering all the boys, including the doctor, outside. After shutting the door she turned to mikayla who was now slowly resting back down on the bed, she smiled and courtney smiled back, finally a normal girl living in the house.
"so, feel good to be coming home?" she asked, slowly helping mikayla change from the hospital clothes into her original clothes.
"definately"
courtney looked up at her confused, that didnt sound the way it should have
"that sounded happy"
mikayla sighed and fell back
"its lucien"
courtney had been filled in with all the boys infomation on lucien/bryce/random names she made up for him,
"whats up?"
"i havent seen him in ages, he hasnt even came and checked up on me, somethings wrong"
courtney sighed and sat down
"maybe hes just been buzy"
"too buzy to see his long time partner in hospital?"
courtney nodded slowly but mikayla shook her head
"it doesnt sound right, hes not like that"
courtney sighed again, he did sound like a gentlemen the way the boys had talked about him, including how louis was constantly jealous of him.
They finished getting changed in silence and walked out slowly, louis instantly hugged mikayla, she hugged back and held on as tight as she could.
Everyone drove home and mikayla was quiet the whole journey, she sighed and gently rested her head on louis' shoulder, she felt his head rest on hers and she smiled, she knew she had louis and he had her but somewhere inside her was still screaming out for lucien.
They arrived and everyone trundled indoors, niall went straight to the kitchen, harry and zayn went to go get changed and work out in the gym for a bit, liam and courtney went upstairs to watch a film in liams room and mikayla flopped on the sofa next to louis, they sat in silence snuggled up together for a while until louis spoke
