"AAAHHHHHHHH" Mikayla screamed and dug her nails into louis' hand deeper, he winced in pain and made a note to himself to cut her nails when they got home. 5 months had passed since tom had died, his friend, his brother.

His daydream was stopped by another scream and another massive pinch, he looked up to see lucien trying to calm her down, he felt sweat drip down his head as he realised that this baby had the worst timing to arrive.

Mikayla continued to scream and curse him for giving her this pain, at first louis felt hurt but lucien quickly tapped him

"dont worry, its what they all say" louis managed to lip read above mikayla's screaming voice, before either boys could do anything the big metal door, that only opened when they were getting food, opened and 2 men dressed in white that looked fairly like doctors stood there, 2 more guards appeared and tryed to pull louis and lucien away whilst the doctors went to mikayla

Mikayla did her best to stay with louis and he did his best to stay with her but the guards were too strong and mikayla and louis were both weak, eventually louis let the guards pull him away and into the room next door. They shoved louis and lucien on the floor and quickly slammed and bolted the door, the two boys looked up at each other

"do you think they'll hurt her?" louis asked, the only thing on his mind was mikayla and the baby's safety but lucien shook his head

"no, they probably want to get it over and done with so she stops screaming"

louis nodded slowly, slightly reassured. He had learnt to trust lucien alot since they first arrived and could know see him as a brother, lucien also learnt to like louis, he was even on the verge of trusting him, which to a spy, was breaking the rules.

Hours passed and no-one had told louis or lucien anything, louis looked up and was about to ask when he heard a massive bang! they both quickly jumped up and turned to the door, more bangs followed and before they knew it the door was being unbolted.

Lucien stood in front of louis and prepared himself for a fight, the door opened slowly and a bright light filtered in through, lucien and louis winced their eyes trying to block it out. They realised it was only a bright flashlight when it was moved away, they both looked up and smiles appeared on their faces.

"felice di vedermi?" (A/N italian - happy to see me?)

lucien smiled and walked over to him, they embraced each other in a hug and before louis could ask he recognised the CIA logo on the mens coats, he smiled and walked over to one of the guards who offered him a flask of water, he drunk it all and enjoyed every second. Then it clicked... mikayla.

"wheres-"

he was interupted by a faint voice

"louis" it was almost like a whisper but to him it shouted out his hearts true calling, he turned and saw a very weak, very ill looking mikayla getting helped to stand up by two men, he rushed to her and picked her up, she wrapped her arms around his neck and began to cry softly, she leaned up to his ear so she could whisper

"im going to die louis"

he pulled away but held her body close

"no you wont, your stronger than this, your going to make it through and we're going to live happily ever after, right?" he was nodding his head, gesturing for her to nod back but she just shook her head and closed her eyes leaning against his body.
