What Happened Last Summer?

Chapter 1

(Theo's POV)"Hey! Only 1 month till summer break!" I said running to where Trey, Alissa, James, Lana, and Aislinn were all talking, which was next to Alissa's locker. But also next to Trey's locker, as Trey and Alissa were locker mates. "Technically 21 days," Aislinn said correcting Theo. Theo rolled his eyes playfully. "But someone's birthday is coming up!" James said, playfully punching Alissa on the arm. Alissa smiled. "Today is May 31st, so 2 more days. June 2nd you will finally be 18," Trey said. "How'd you know that? I never actually told you," Alissa said. "I know things," Trey said. "Mysterious. I like it," Alissa said. Trey blushed. "Awww he's blushing!" Lana teased. Oh god this won't be good. As much as Alissa loved us in a friendly way, she would do anything to protect Trey and he would the same for her. They both like each other. I don't understand why they aren't dating. Trey ran out the school and Alissa chased after him. She grabbed both his and her stuff and took it with her. The rest of us went to our own lockers and grabbed our stuff. We all met up outside to find Alissa and Trey.

(Trey's POV) I saw Alissa chase after me. I slowed down and then stopped. I hadn't run far. We were only a few feet away from the school. "Hey. Are you okay?" Alissa said. She looked up at me and I stared into her beautiful brown eyes. I got lost in her eyes for a second and she smiled at me. We stared at each other for a second. "Like what you see?" Alissa said. I blushed. She knows how to play this game of love. "Don't you know how hot you are when you blush?" Alissa said. I blushed harder but I managed to say, "Well um. Do you wanna walk home or something?" "Yeah sure," She replied. We both lived about 5 miles away. It would be 1hr before we both actually got home. I had a car so I could drive but usually I had James pick me up to go to school. Alissa had told me before that her father would buy her a car when she turned 18. Then we saw Aislinn, Theo, James, and Lana in a car passing by us. "Why don't you 2 just make out already?" Lana screamed at us. "Shut up Lana!" James screamed at Lana in a not so mean way. They kept driving. Then Alissa started to blush. It was probably because James was around for like 3 seconds. "You know, we never get time to hang out like this..." Alissa trailed off. "How about this summer we hang out all the time before college?" I said. "Deal." She replied. We chatted about college and flirted with each other even more until we got to her house. I dropped her off and said hi to her mom. Oh my glob I love this girl.

(Theo's POV) "One day Alissa and Trey will be together," Aislinn said. "Well they both like each other," I said. "Kinda like how you 2 do," Lana said. My eyes widened. "She means how you both have a great friendship. And how you both talk to each other a lot," James said. Thank you James! I wouldn't want Aislinn to find out I like her. What?! No! I don't like her. Or do I? I'm confused. Aislinn is a great girl. I don't know if I'm ready for a relationship. Soon we reached all the houses and I was driving home alone. I got home and I fought with my mom again. I decided that I would call Lana. I would usually have a 3-way call with Alissa too but I don't want to interrupt her time with Trey. Usually when hanging out with other people, Lana would be very crazy. But with just Alissa and I, she would be calm and polite. I dialed her phone number and luckily she picked up. "Hello?" Lana said. "Hey Lana," I said. "Had another fight with your mom?" She said. "Yeah," I said. "Don't worry lets just talk right now," Lana said. Lana comforted me until Alissa joined the call and we all chatted about life and how it sucks. We also talked about the answers for homework and how stupid school was. We gossiped about people and we talked about Alissa's birthday. Her birthday was on a Saturday so we said that we would all go to a club and drink and stuff. We texted Trey, James, and Aislinn about our plans and they soon all joined the call making it a 6-way call. We just talked about stupid stuff until 6pm and we all ate dinner with our families. We all got on the phones again and had another 6-way call until we all fell asleep on the phone. This was the way I wanted everything to be. But after today it wasn't at all what I wanted.

I love leaving you guys on cliffhangers. Not really a cliffhanger but it's kinda suspenseful.
