What Happened Last Summer?

Chapter 3

(? POV) I was walking down a street with my suitcase full of clothes. My boyfriend had just kicked me out of our house because he found out that I was bi. Now I had no where to go. I walked and I walked till I was in the middle of nowhere. I had just recently moved here and I didn't know most places. I saw a girl who looked around 17 or 18 years old. She was very cute. Beside her was a bookbag. It was about 5pm so I think she had been here a while. It seemed as if she was sleeping. Then I realised the bottle of pills in her hand. Her grasp was barely holding it at all. I peeked at the bottle to find that it was empty. Then my brain finally realised that she must have tried to commit suicide. I automatically called 911 and soon enough an ambulance came. Before they let me ride on the ambulance with her, I told them that I was her best friend. Though I haven't even met her, I really hoped she was okay. I brought her bookbag since today was Monday so more than likely she had school tomorrow. Once we arrived at the hospital they told me to wait in the waiting lobby. I got bored and my phone was at 7%. I took her phone from her while in the ambulance to call maybe her parents or friends. I took her phone out from my pocket and  I turned it on. 'Fudge.' I said quietly to myself. Her phone had a password. After many failed attempts, I finally got it. I put my number in her phone, because obviously she will meet me, if she wakes up, that is. I went into her favourites column in her contacts to see 5 numbers listed. The first one: 'Ms. Zadari'. The second: 'Mr.Kanteras'. The third: 'Mrs. Kanteras'. The fourth: 'Mr. Radogna <3'. Maybe that's her boyfriend. The fifth: 'Mr. Sipe'. I decided to call her one of her friends. I called 'Mr.Radogna <3'. He said that him and their friends were on their way. While I waited on I went through some of her pictures. I was pretty bored. The first one was of her and two hot guys. Assuming from her contacts that must be 'Mr. Radogna <3' and 'Mr. Sipe'. I saw some more photos and then I saw one that drove me crazy. It was her with dark eyeliner and black eye shadow and in a pretty black dress that was really short. She had on black high heel boots and thigh highs. I've never liked her more. I may have only just met her but honestly this girl was so pretty. Why would she do this to herself? Soon her friends got here. They all introduced themselves to me while I did the same. The doctors walked over to me and told me that only one person could go in at a time while she wasn't awake/alive. They said that they weren't sure whether not she would make it. "What the patients name?" I heard the lady at the desk ask. "Alissa. Alissa Urie," Lana replied. No of us decided to go in the room with out someone else. The nurses monitored her because there was only 2 other patients in the whole hospital. It was a small hospital. We all just sat there and got to know each other very well. They were really funny people. From 9 to 10pm, my new 5 friends had got calls from their parents to come home since it was a school night. I had just turned 19 and I was taking a gap year so no school for me. Once everyone left I walked into the room. All the nurses left. I sat down in a chair next to her. Alissa was so amazing. My 5 new besties told me so much about her. Suddenly she woke up as if my presence brought her back to life.             
   (Alissa's POV) I woke up. So I didn't die. I was in a hospital. Instead of seeing my friends, I saw a beautiful Indian girl with tattoos and she wore black boots with a black dress and tights. She had tattoos and nose piercing. Wow she was cute. "Who are you? Do you mind telling me what happened? All I remember was running and getting lost and everything after that is just a blur," I  said. "You swallowed a bottle of pills," She replied quietly. "Oh. You still haven't told me who you are...," I said. "Oh I'm Briyanka and I found you so I took you here," She said. "Briyanka. That's such a beautiful name. But thank you for saving me," I replied. After a couple of seconds the nurse told me that we could leave. We signed out and left. "Your friends were here earlier and they told me that your birthday is tomorrow. Well today since it's midnight. If we don't see each other again today or maybe forever, let's make tonight a great night!" Briyanka said. So we went out stealing from dollar stores which no one cared because they were too lazy. We both had fake IDs so went to buy alcohol. We drank some but we didn't get drunk. We went to a club and had such a great time. Then she said that we're all going to go to Theo's house because they were having a sleepover. I didn't really want to go. I was still mad at Theo. Briyanka told me that she had no where to stay so Theo decided to let her stay with him over summer because we all have planned to go to the same college. I decided that if Theo was going to be nice to the girl who saved my life, then maybe I should talk to him about what happened. Then it started to rain. We got out of the car and Briyanka stopped me. "Can I ask you something?" She asked. "Sure," I said. "Will you be my girlfriend?" She asked. I smiled. I never had a girlfriend before. "Yes. Of course," I said. Then we both leaned in and kissed in the rain. We pulled away after a few seconds and she knocked on the door. Trey opened the door. Wait? I thought that I liked Trey?!

Woah this chapter had 1108 words. That's kinda a lot to me since I don't write long chapters usually. I hope you guys love my Brendon Urie reference!
