Lauren's P.O.V

"Mr.August is having a heart failure as I said he will make it but tough decisions must be made if you want ur boyfriend to live now we will try to give him heart management and therapy but if that does not work he will start to have shortness of breathe and heart attacks will occur." He looked at me pausing for a mintue for me to take all this in.

"Remember the bullet barely missed his heart. We will keep him for another 4 days if you like you can now visit him " he smiled at me then walked off.

I quickly ran to August room and walked in. He looked up at me and smiled. I broke down.

"Oh Baby I'm so sorry it should of been me not you" I cried hugging him. He looked at me lifting my chin up and kissed me.

"I love you I would never let anything hurt you now give your man some sugar girl" he chuckled. I sighed and smiled a little happy to know that hes Alive I kissed him passionately.

"Baby stay with me tonight" he said scooting over. I crawled into the bed and lyed next to him. Surprisely it fit both of us. He started to chuckle. I smirked saying,

"Oh nothing you just look so beautiful" he smirked. I laughed.

"Shhh baby get some rest" I said rubbing my hand in his hair as I hummed. He drifted off.

"Thank you Jesus" I said before drifting off next to him.

A week later

August was finally out of the hospital. He even looked better. His doctor told me his therapy was going really well.

"Ughhh I'm hungry bae" he whined. I smiled at him because he sounded like a 3year old.

"Awww My poor baby" I teased. He looked up at me giving me his puppy dog eyes.

"Fix some lasagna" he asked smiling. I just couldn't say no.
