My eyes opened at the sound of my door dell. I got up quickly to answer it, as I walk through the living room heading for the door I stumbled over my umbrella ..... S***, the F***.

I got up an opened the door, "What's with you always waking me up" I said to Mia as she walked right in.

Mia-" Its 10:38am an your still sleeping .... Hmmm have you been drinking lately. Anyways we have a lot to do before we get our hands dirty."

"Damn! I over slept. I have to go get my dress from the dry cleaners an pick up my sister an take her to work."

I ran towards the bathroom with Mia hot on my trail shouting " An you have to help me paint, don't for get that put that on top of your list."

I turned around an faced my friend, " Miss in due time relax. Help yourself to some food in the kitchen, cause Lord knows if I was in your house I would."

Mia-" Yes I know! That's why I locked everything up away from you. Now hurry up an don't have me waiting out here to long."

She made her way to the kitchen. I rid myself of my PJ's an got into the shower. Once I was done I walked out in my towel an headed for my closet, I scan through it in about 60 seconds ..... my eyes set on this blue short sleeve dress. I grabed for it an put it on an pull my hair back into a ponytail. I apply some nude Mac lipstick an mascara, grab my purse an headed to where Mia was in the kitchen. I catch her eating up all my food.

" Are you done yet because am ready to leave, I have a lot to do today."

Mia-" Yes am ready just let me grab some more of these cup cake , did you bake them they taste good to be honest ..... mmmmm."

"Yes I did now out the door you go."

We got in our sperate cars an I made way to the dry cleaners. It was a normal hot day in Nassau, the ride from Albany to Super Wash was long but I got there in time to pick up my dress." Good day mam am here to pick up my dress." The lady at the desk gave me a smile an took my receipt an went for my dress. In no time she was handing it to me. An in no time I was making my way out South beach to pick up my sister.

" I've been waiting in this car for what seems to be an hour" I said as my sister got in the passenger seat beside me.

Nita-" My bad I woke up late an I was trying to rush before you got here. I can't wait until my car is fixed an on the road again. So how's everything, how's my brother in law doing."

"He's ok ...... He'll be home tomorrow actually. A week sure feels like a year to me, I can't wait until he gets back."

Nita-"Well I know your happy . Anyways your nephew birthday is Monday are you coming?"

"Is that a question, you know I can't miss that special day."

I drop her off at Atlantis Hotel Resort where she works. She's the Manager's for Human Resource over there. Afterwards I made my way back into town. I stop at a local Burger king to get me a Whopper before heading to Mia's house.

As I walked in my eyes catch a familiar face, a face I've look at an heald before. More like a blast from the past.

"Ray!"

The name flew right out my mouth without me knowing. In a spilt second he turned around an we were standing face to face. His face lit up like a Christmas tree, an so did mines.

Ray-" Littia!" ........ Is that you , Wow it is you."

He swoop me up into a hug with his thick muscular arms. After letting me go I took a step back to get a full view of him. He was still tall as I remembered him , mango skin , broad shoulders , even more muscular with that bright smile I loved so much. Suddenly I snap out of what ever thought I was having.

Ray-" So how is things with you .... Long time no see love , how are you?"

" Am fine"

Ray-" Yes I could see that, he said with a mischievous smirk on his face. What you been up to babes?"

" Well am married now an I work at the hospital an am also a private Nurse."

Why did I tell him I was married, I thought to myself. Well its better he found out this way.I watched the color drain from his face as he took all that in.

Ray-" Your married?"

"Yes I am"

Ray-"To who , if you don't mind me asking?"

"His name is Kevin"

Ray-" Kevin hmmm, Kevin." He let the name roll of his tongue." I think I've heard that name before."

"Well of course you would have .... You do know there are a lot of Kevin's around Nassau."

Ray-" Yes I know that."

It was now my time to order, I ordered my whopper an waited for it. In 5 minutes my number was called an I made my way to the exit. I turned around an said my goodbye's to Ray an left as fast as I could.
