Nikki walked up to me with a bucket of egg shell white paint."Here you go now get to painting" She shouted as I snap back into reality."Where do you go every 5 minutes, its like your in a totally different world." She sat beside me with a worried look on her face. If only she knew I was thinking about her cousin Ray, she would surely have my head. But she's my best friend an we don't hide anything from each other so I took a deep breath before explaining." Am listening" she said as she turned my face towards her's, at the same time Mia walked in with a confused look upon her face.

Mia-" What did I miss."

Nikki-" Littia?"

" Ok fine! I'll tell you. I ran into Ray today an before you ask any questions YES! your cousin Ray. We talked for awhile an I said my goodbyes an left. But since I've last saw him I can't stop thinking about him." I said as my voice trailed off an transformed into a helpless child's voice.

I looked up at two shocked face's, for about two minutes no one spoke. Until Nikki broke the silence.

Nikki-" What the F*** does he want an when did he even got back into town?"

" Wait one minute..... He wasn't over here?"

Nikki-" Nope! ........ He was in Canada working with my uncle. He left about two maybe three years ago."

Mia-" An now he's back .... Littia wait what did he even say to you."

" Nothing much , I told him I was married an......"

Nikki-" Oh great! ...... That was a good move telling him that, now he wouldn't bother you."

Mia-" Yea cause you know he love him some Littia"she said with a playful bump on my shoulder an a wink.

"Stop it you all know it isn't like that, an am happily married remember. Ray is the last thing on my mind."

Nikki-" Hmmm I hope so ..... You don't want to dig up old bones."

I look at Nikki with a shock an confused look on my face. Why would she say something like that , knowing Nikki almost all my life I knew she always talk like that. She never holds back anything she wanted to say.

" Am not an idiot neither am I a little kid , I know not to play in a grave yard," I said as I made my way for a paint brush.

Mia-" Ok! ...... Enough of that your mouth's aren't going to paint my walls. So can we get to work please."

We had just finish painting, all I could think of was the cold glass lemonade sitting on the table that Nikki had made earlier for us. I poored my self a glass an stood in the middle of the room admiring the paint job. I loved the color an how it brightens up the room ..... Hmmm maybe I should paint my living this color am tired of that mint green color. I had just finish my glass an was about to turn around to get more when a hand slid over my eyes an the voice said guess who? I inhale the scent that brush pass my noise. I remember that fragrant am pretty sure I bought it about a month ago. "Hmmm let me guess ...... Is it my loving husband I said as I turned around to face him."

Kevin-"You guess correctly hunny."

He swoop me up into a big hug an gave me one of the most passionate kiss I've ever received from him. To be honest I left earth an went to explore the moon with that kiss. We let each other up for air .

"What are you doing here your plane don't land until tomorrow, how are you even here."

Kevin-" Well after making a pretty good presentation an being one of the first persons in my department to sell a million dollar company, my boss allowed me to go home early. An plus I told him I had a very beautiful lady home waiting for me.

"Oh really now ..... Who's say's I was waiting on you" I shot at him with a grin on my face.

Kevin-" What! You wasn't ..... Have I been gone to long my baby don't love me no more" he said in a playful manner whiles holding his chest an falling to the floor as if someone had just push a knife through his heart. I laugh an rolled my eyes as I helped him up.

"Get up you big baby ..... You know my love for you is beyond this world an I've been missing you since the day you left am glad your back.

Kevin-" Yea me to, I couldn't wait to get home an see you."

He grabbed me an kissed me again when I heard voice's behind me. I turned around an there was Nikki an Mia.

Mia-"Please don't let us stop you two , I was just wondering who this man was trying to make babies in my house."

Kevin-" Nice to see you to Mia ..... Nikki."

Nikki-" I thought you wouldn't be back until tomorrow though. Am confused!"

Kevin-"This was my surprise to Littia."he said whiles giving me a kiss on the cheek. "So did anything interesting happened while I was gone?"

I look at Mia an Nikki as they look back at me with blank faces remembering the conversation we had earlier about Ray. No one said a word for about several minutes until Kevin broke the silence.

Kevin-"LADIES!!"

"Oh nooo not at all" we all said at the same time.

Kevin-" Alright if you say so."

I can't let Kevin know that I ran into Ray he would be mortified, Kevin is very over protective when it comes to me an would do anything to keep me away from my ex's ...... Most definitely the ones who broke my heart.
