Lullaby

Gaara pov

I sit down and look at a book book, I'm not actually reading it but it's the thought that counts.

I hear the shower running, i start imaging lee naked,

the things i could do, we could do, suddenly i hear the bathroom door open,

that was fast and i hear Lee walking to his bedroom, maybe i shouldn't have mentioned the no sleeping thing,

then i could at least lay beside him,...... "sigh"...., I'm bored now usually in the sand village i walk around and sit on rooftops brooding but can't do that here it's to cold.

I've been sitting here pretending to read this book for two hours, I've had enough,

i get up slowly and walk down the hall to lee's bedroom,

once there i open the door and close it behind me, walking over to lee's bed i look down at him,

he looks like a plane crash or an explosion of some kind, kneeling down beside him i stroked his hair out of his face,

he looks so peaceful, i stroke his face as gently as i can then i push him over slightly and lay down beside him, lee snuggles into my side mumbling something about youth,

my eyes dropped but i won't allow myself to sleep, i don't want to hurt lee not again.

Lee pov

I wake up and look out the window and it's still night time i turn over slowly and feel something warm and cuddly right next to me i open my eyes and see gaara,

(Long pause)

"GAARA aaaah! " i would have fallen out of the bed had gaara's sand not caught me, "GAARA WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN MY BED " i yell not out of anger but from the flight i got, "watching you sleep", i can't believe he just said that, how could he say that so nonchalant "your very cute when you're asleep" he adds, i blush scarlet, he wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me flush against him, i get redder if that's even possible, he snuggles into my chest, i don't think he's leaving not that i want him to leave.

so i just cuddle him back by wrapping my arms around him and putting my face on his head,

he smells so nice not like shampoo or anything like that but like sand (obviously) and fresh air it's a pleasant smell,

i listen to his heart and find myself falling asleep to the sound of gaara's heart beat like a baby with a lullaby.
