My Dream

I dream of a county
So rich be it,that diamonds won't afford
And gold is as minute and infinite

I dream of a county
So blessed because my forefathers passed it on to me
I treasure it like the egg
So delicate I can't afford to drop

I dream of my County
The bare sands that bit against my sole
As I look after my cattle
Trekking so hard to afford schoolfees
Because my household will produce a leader
So outspoken the father of leadership shudders at his might.

I dream of my homeland
Vast and so distant
Marginalised but guarded by ethnics
Bound by a tradition so rich
And a heritage modelled to perfection

I dream that one day
My county will rise above its minor differences
And my country will rise up to new leadership
Cheers to liberalisation, cheers to my dream

.... I dream of my county. ..i dream for my land
I dream under my mathenge tree
and everytime I crane my neck,
I see a beautiful land, filled with ambition and propelled by a 32° of heat. "
