Prologue
I was twelve when he took me. He told me I was going to be okay, told me that he would take me home. Oh how gullible and naïve I was.
Now I am sixteen, almost seventeen, and I’m still here. Not for much longer though, I have a plan.
He’s smart, skilled, and twisted in the head. It’s crazy how he can sense my uneasiness. He scares me more than any movie, costume, or story ever has. What scares me most though, is what he’s cable of.
I’ve seen him kill, I’ve seen him torture. I’ve cleaned up the blood and I’ve heard the screams and cries.
I had never hated someone until he took me. I now feel a certain pang of hatred every time I see him. I could send him straight to hell to burn without a second thought.
I’m Addelyne Jones and I was kidnapped four years ago by Will Thorne.
