You pick Sam up from the airport running to him like you always do. He picks you up and kiss you. You've missed him like always nothing makes you happier that he's home.
"Hey baby. I missed you." He says as you two walk back to the car.
"I missed you more." You giggle.
"Didn't you take the (y/t/d/n) out of school today?" He questions.
"Umm. No. Did you want me to?"
"I have an idea." He jumps in the passenger seat.
The two of you stop by a flower shop getting a half dozen roses for your teenage daughter. Sam picks out pink because it's her favorite color. You drive to her high school and get out.
"Babe." You say as you grab Sam's hand. "You're the best father ever. "
"I know." He laughs humbly.
Sam slides glasses on and his hat before you two walk in. Kids litter the hallways doing their own things. When you daughter looks up from talking to her friends she runs to her dad and sam picks her up giving her a tight hug.
"Oh daddy I misses you! These are beautiful thank you!" She's overjoyed smelling her roses.
