The Four Clans

A New King

They flew in the air at each other, they collided with a hard thud. The ice dragon clawed the black dragon on the leg, but the black dragon was prepared for that. The black dragon opened her mouth and she started to spray out a black mist at the ice dragon, but the ice dragon sprayed out ice, and the two powers collided. Now was the time to see who was more powerful. Both of this powers were strong, but the black mist was stronger. The black dragons mist destroyed the ice dragons ice and the mist swirled around the ice dragon and everyone stopped fighting to watch this. "What's she doing?" Ivy asked. "I don't know." Drake said. The ice dragon started to breathe heavily. One of the other ice dragons around Ivy's age came over to the black dragon. "Stop! You're chocking him!" The ice dragon yelled. The black dragon looked at him. "He will kill us all if I don't do this!" The black dragon yelled. "Please! He's my father!" The ice dragon said a tear slipping down his face. The black dragon sighs and stops chocking the ice dragon. The young ice dragon ran over to his father and helped him up. "Why did you stop choking me?" The ice dragon asked. "Because I just realized that war isn't the way to go about all this." The black dragon turned and looked at all the other dragons and spoke, "We shall not fight this battle anymore, if the world doesn't want us, then we will stay here just like we have all these years. Battling each other just to come out of hiding isn't right, so what ever the ice king says we will have to do." The black dragon said with a strong and confident voice. Ivy looked worried and so did all the other black dragons, but the ice king didn't. He flew above everyone and spoke in a loud voice. "Here me now, for as long as the clan of darkness lives, they will forever stay in hiding and no one will talk about them. As far as anyone in the outside world knows the clan of darkness does not exist and let's keep it that way." The ice dragon said. "No." The ice dragon looked around. "Who said that?" He asked. "I did." The young ice dragon flew up to him. "Son?" The ice dragon looked confused. "Why would you say that?" "I think they deserve to be out of this place and come out to the real world." The young ice dragon said with confidence. "No! They are not allowed to come out!" He yelled at his son. "All in favor of the final clan to come out say I." The young ice dragon said. The final clan all said "I" but the ice clan stood still for a few seconds then they all said "I" except for the ice king. "Well then it's decided. The final clan is free to come out!" The Ice king looked at his son the young ice dragon. "You can't do that!!" He yelled. "Yes I can and its already done." All the other dragons started cheering loudly. "This isn't fair!" The ice king yelled. "I am your king! You must obey my orders!!" A few ice dragons stepped back. "No, there has to be a new king here, we are all done with you being king." The young ice dragon said with confidence. Ivy, Drake and Wave flew up next to the young ice dragon. "I agree, there should be a new ice king in this clan." Ivy said. The other dragons nodded in agreement. "I think the new ice king should be this young ice dragon." Wave said. The black dragon flies up to the young ice dragon and whispers into his ear. "What's your name?" The ice dragon looked at the black dragon and said, "my name is Shatter." The black dragon smirked and spoke in a loud voice so everyone could hear what she had to say. "Dragons of ice, may I present to you your new ice king, Shatter!" The dragons cheered loudly and clapped. "Wait! You can't do this! You have no right!" The ice dragon yelled at the black dragon. "I have every right to do this." The ice dragons eyes now had bitter anger in them, that frightened the other ice dragons. "As your new king I command you to leave the ice clan forever, and that you will never return!" Shatter said to the ice dragon. "Fine!" The ice dragon flew away from everyone and the other dragons started cheering again. "I'm proud of you." The black dragon said to Shatter. "Thanks. Oh, and I have one more thing to say. Everyone hear me now! From this day forth the final clan of darkness is free to come out of hiding and will never be hidden again!" All the dragons flew around Shatter and cheered. The clan of darkness was now free from hiding.
