The Four Clans

Free at last

Every dragon was celebrating for this special occasion, the clan of darkness was finally able to come out of hiding. "I cannot even thank you enough for standing up to your dad like you did." The black dragon said to Shatter. "Oh, thanks, but I'm just glad you are all able to come out of hiding now." Shatter said. "Yes, and we owe it all to you." Shatter smiled as the other dragons started to fly out. Drake turned to Ivy and smiled. "Um, Ivy, I was wondering if you would like to go on a flight with me tonight?" Ivy looked at him and her cheeks started to turn pink. "Just the two of us? Like a date? Together? You and me?" Ivy was very shocked at what he said. "Uh, yes." Drake said uncertain of what Ivy's answer would be. Ivy didn't even think twice about the question and she answered with a smile on her face. "I'd love to go on a flight with you!" Ivy said excited. "Great!" Drake said smiling as well. The black dragon smirked and flew away as Wave started to look a little sad. "Are you ok?" Ivy asked her concerned. Wave sighs before answering, "Well I just remembered that now we all have to go back to our own clans and leave each other." Ivy frowned as she realized Wave was right. Shatter looked at them, "I have an idea." He said. "What?" Drake asked. "If you want, all of you can form a secret society away from the clans where you can all be together and protect all the clans if you'd like." Ivy was so surprised at what he had said. "That would be amazing!" Wave said with excitement. "Great, when do we start?" Ivy asked. "How about now." Shatter said to Ivy. "Yay! Where should our main base be?" Drake asked. "How about here? All the dragons are going to leave here and go make a clan out in the world, so this would be the perfect place." Shatter said gesturing towards where they were. "That's a great idea!" Wave said excitedly. "So, are you ready for our flight together?" Drake asked Ivy. "Yes, id love to." Ivy said. Drake and Ivy flew into the air together. "Well then I guess it's just us here." Wave said. "Maybe that's a good thing." Shatter said to Wave. All of the black dragons and ice dragons had flown away so it was now the perfect time to make that place their base to meet up. "Should we get started?" Shatter asked Wave. "Of course." Wave said. Shatter and Wave started to pick up some sticks and set them in a pile along with small rocks. "This place will be great for our base." Wave said. "Yeah." Shatter agreed. A few hours went by of picking up rocks, sticks and making the place their new base. Wave and Shatter flew over the base and looked at what they had done, as Drake and Ivy flew in smiling and laughing. "Wow!" Drake and Ivy noticed that Wave and Shatter had made the place look beautiful and like a home. "Hey guys!" Wave said as her and Shatter flew over to Drake and Ivy. "The place looks great." Ivy said. "Nice job." Drake said to Wave and Shatter. "Thanks." Wave and Shatter said at the same time. "This looks like the perfect place to start protecting dragons." Drake said. "And the perfect place to talk and stay friends." Ivy said. Shatter and Wave nodded in agreement. "Let's go watch the sun set from the cave up there." Shatter points to a cave on the highest mountain close by. "It's got a great view." Drake, Wave and Ivy nodded as they flew up to the cave and landed to watch the sun set. Drake sat next to Ivy and Shatter sat next to Wave as the sun started to set. "It's beautiful." Ivy said. Drake nodded in agreement, as they all watched the sun set. For the first time in many years, each dragon felt at peace and it shall remain this way for many years to come.
