Taehyung pov

Bright lights are flickering as Taehyung and Jimin stroll past them. Jimin took the younger out for a proper date to a fair. Taehyung had a big cotton candy in his hand, matching the colour of his bright pink sweater that he had gotten from Jungkook as a present. I should hang out with Kookie again, it's been too long. 

"Tae, look! It's a ferris wheel!" Taehyung looks up and sees his boyfriend's eyes light up at the sight of the huge attraction. He's afraid of heights, but he'll go for Jimin. "Taetae hurry up!" Jimin is now tugging on his sleeve, attempting to use aegyo. Taehyung grimaces. I'd better go with him before he continues doing this. "Okay, okay, calm down Jiminie." Jimin flashes a bright smile at him before dragging Taehyung along towards the huge wheel. The sudden movement makes Taehyung lose his Cotton Candy, causing him to pout. Jimin doesn't seem to notice, and Taehyung makes a mental note to get Jimin to buy him a new one later. 

After standing in line for what seems like forever they finally get in one of the cabins. Taehyung is still a bit scared, and Jimin grabs his hand assuringly. "It's okay Tae, I'm here with you." Taehyung just nods and leans against his boyfriend's shoulder, enjoying the warmth of his body through their clothes. The ferris wheel shocks and starts moving. 

As the wheel takes them higher and higher Taehyung feels himself getting less afraid. He loosens his grip on Jimin's hand a bit. This actually isn't that bad. I can see why Jimin enjoys these so much. Taehyung looks up from where his head had been resting on Jimin's shoulder. "Jiminie?" Jimin doesn't look at him when he answers, too busy looking at the lights illuminating the dark night beneath their feet. "Yeah?" "I love you." Jimin looks at him now. This view is so much more breathtaking. The older boy leans in and softly presses his lips to Taehyungs. They stay like that until the wheel stops turning, signalling that it's time for them to leave the cabin. 

They walk out hand in hand, still silent. Why didn't he say I love you back? Is something wrong? Probably not, you're just worrying too much again. Jimin let's go of his hand when his phone buzzes. "Wait, this might be imporant Tae." Taehyung smiles at him, but his smile quickly fades when he sees how Jimin's face shifts from happy to concerned in a matter of seconds. "Jimin? Is something wrong?" Jimin quickly looks up, smile back on his face. Taehyung can easily see it's faked, but he decides to play along anyway. "No, it's okay, I'm okay, everything is okay." Taehyung just nods and grabs Jimin's hand again. Jimin seems reluctant to hold his hand and he can't help but worry at his boyfriend's change in behaviour. 

They walk for a bit before Taehyung spots the cotton candy stand from ealier. Jimin's mood is quickly forgotten. "Jimin, I dropped the last one ealier, can I have a new one?" Jimin chuckles and nods, getting out his money. "Go get one Tae, I'll wait over here." The younger hugs him tightly before running over to get his daily fix of sugar. Everything is okay Tae, don't worry, he loves you.

Jimin p.o.v

"I love you." Jimin looks up at that, not knowing what to say. He knows he's already said it but he doesn't know if he really meant it. Instead of saying it back he just leans in and kisses Taehyung softly. They stay like that for the entire ride, but Jimin can't help but feel a bit uncomfortable. 

Once they've reached the ground again Jimin feels his phone buzzing in the pocket of his jeans. It would be rude to get it out woudn't it? But maybe it's Yoongi. "Wait, this might be important Tae." He unlocks his phone, seeing that it wasn't Yoongi but Hoseok who has texted him. He opens the chat anyway.

Jimin, please do something about the whole Yoongi thing

What?

Don't play dumb

Okay this is not the point

The point is that right now, I've got a crying Yoongi in my bed

What happened is that I was about to get laid

When Yoongi just started crying

Jimin feels tears welling up in his eyes when he rereads what Hoseok had texted him. Taehyung is concerned but Jimin just brushes it off. He doesn't want to hurt Taehyung as well. He does care a lot for Taehyung, and he does enjoy being with him. But he might love Yoongi a little bit more. Hoseok is right, I need to fix this.
